We have to remember, he was at Insoniac for a very long time, that studio is probably like family to him and after spending 3 months off after losing his brother it’s completely understandable that he would want to take a lower stress job at an already established studio that he knows

Guys don’t. People leaving studios and joining studios is very normal. Is Naughty Dog doomed because many left there to join The Initiative? It’s really nothing.

Devs always move from one studio to another it’s just common

And he left because of personal reasons. Now he joined a familiar place in a lower position. Maybe this space is already set in The Initiative? We don’t know. The truth is he left because of personal reasons and the studio wasn’t the reason.
