Is Kojima Production’s a realistic get for Microsoft? I doubt Kojima needs the money and most publishers would line up to work with him so i doubt they need to be aquired. I’d imagine Sony has their eyes on them though.

There are rumours that their relationship is not that great because of some content (I think something was cut). And sure why not ? But I don’t think Kojima wants to be acquired by anyone after what happend with Konami.

Anyways it’s the wrong thread to discuss acquisition rumours.

I wonder how hard is it for Playground to hire and sustain their big expansion with Fable and (certainly) FH5. There are some job offers on their Linkedin that still have 0 candidate or very few candidates despite being months old. Unless people prefer to directly apply on their website. They’re also looking for another recruiter.

Last time I checked, there were +100 job offers on their website (105 on Linkedin exactly).

I don’t know what kind of headache Brexit has had in terms of recruiting from the EU as well. Until that all kicked off it was super easy to move between countries for work. That would lower the pool of potential candidates too.

Oh yeah, just meant even if you could move there and find a house or flat, I can’t imagine it Brexit helping in terms of knowing your future is safe. I only mention as our family has moved to and from the UK before brexit and though my wife is from Germany and I from England we never had a single issue, yet now we’re not sure what rights we do and do not have.

I imagine they arent where they want to be yet, but those job postings that are months old could be job postings that are for multiple positions, so they might want 4 technical artists instead of just 1
