A lot of games in gen7 had better physics than gen 8 games. Look at how gears of war or crysis developed. Later games all had less impressive physics. It’s just a matter of focus and budget. That’s nothing only crackdown had to deal with

That too, hopefully Zenimax’s next mmo has better combat mechanics… it’s really the only thing keeping me from enjoying ESO.

So, overall you might be right BUT ZeniMax/Bethesda make alot of games that don’t particularly fit my taste so yes I’m still going to be hungry for more.
If WB was the mainevent purchase a few weeks ago I would have agreed with you because then I would be satisfied with the kind of diversity I personally seek; but IMO Xbox is heavily slanted in genres I’m not the biggest fan of. Maybe others that want more share my sentiment.

Yeah, most of the time I understand when they throw shade, Sony had it coming. But as for boost mode I’m not sure if the shade is necessary. I mean we haven’t seen it in action and for all we know it’s going to be pretty good.
That’s not to say I expect them to outdo the Xbox BC team, because that team is something else. Or is the shade warranted?

Just a heads up that we now have 7 iPhones actively for sale, yet somehow people cant comprehend 2 xbox models without their brains exploding.

Watched the Yakuza DF video, they know what they are doing. I appreciate their content tremendously. I also noticed how crisp as hell it is, even in the normal mode. I guess it’s another sign of chasing native 4K is kind of a waste, or well, can be.
MS is just saying, we have boost mode for alle back compat games. Sony has it only for “selected games”, whatever this means.
No shade, just facts.
So it IS like that huh? The other day i was saying this in one of the PS5 threads as well but it seemed that what XSX was doing was normal…or that was the impression i got from a reply or two. I’ve been wondering for a while if it is because of the BC team that ALL BC games will have these things like shorter loading times, max framerates, max resolutions or if it’s just the hardware itself doing this. But it sounds like the team went the extra mile after all? And on top of that comes these extra enhancements like Fallout 4 at 60fps and some other games.
This is a mindbending game that sadly got unnoticed on pc because it came exclusively on Epic store but its very interesting to see Series X|S got a new launch timed exclusive.
