As another PS4 owner, I completely agree; I feel like people get taken in by the graphics design, but I haven’t fallen in love with a Sony title outside of Spider-Man in years. Even then, I was a bit burnt out of Spider-Man mid-way through because, once you get over the great feeling of freedom with Spidey-swinging, it felt no different than any open-world game that came out in 2015. I couldn’t even get into Bloodborne, which is a shame because I love Lovecraftian lore and Dark Souls (I think it boiled down to the combat not being as nuanced as Dark Souls).

They really want to sell us the next gen version?
Rockstar is making a next-gen version, was announced in June at the PS5 show. I’m sure it’ll be BC at launch though.
I swear I saw one of the YouTubers in the past weeks start up GTA V and it showed how fast the loading was as soon as the artwork pictures appeared and then straight into the SP. This is some weird shit.

In the end it doesn’t matter for me personally cause I know I will buy it again 
I already triple dipped on GTA V so it’s not like I’m not prepared lol.

Ah thanks! Confusion cleared would have been weird from Rockstar to block it intentionally. Like I said I will buy it either way. Lol.
You know…when the game appeared at the Sony stream I was like “really now?” because for a brief moment I thought they actually were gonna show a GTA 6 teaser. I told myself I’m gonna ignore it and not buy it. But if they make proper Xbox Series and PS5 versions, 4K, improved graphical fidelity, maybe even 60fps (ACV is doing it after all) I might get it after all.
How amazing would it be if they did deliver the SP content they promised, but never made? Yeah, too good to be true.
Anyway, the loading in V after those splash screens is like 5 seconds or so, awesome. And that’s unoptimized, lovely.
Yep there were 2 big solo DLCs planned before they switched to online unfortunately but the solo content has been incorporated slowly into the online since.
Yeah would like to see Rockstar optimize GTA V for XSX apart from the next gen version.
There is the biggest GTA Online update ever coming in december. It’s gonna be huge.

I would love a playable demo of the area/region that was in the July demo but with the story cut-scenes cut out. Would love to get a feel of the gameplay/combat.
