Hyper-realism is in vogue currently. Partly because people feel it’s the only way hardware can be pushed so they get value for money on their platforms.
I would be worried if they did, the game would have been in dev for over 7 years if it was pushed out of 24.
Not in dev for 7 years. It was in the pitch phase when Obsidian was bought and it got a reboot during development. More like 3-4 years of active development (this version that we saw.)
reboot, doesn’t mean they start from scratch. in fact, i’m betting the majority of systems and assets were kept as they just made the scope of the game smaller.
Yeah, I doubt they threw away the environments and characters they created, or even the core gameplay mechanics. They weren’t starting from zero after the “reboot.”
This character with a crystal head in the Senua’s Saga Hellblade 2 trailer is Incredible I can’t wait to see who he is he seems to be an important character

It might be her father (obviously like a nightmare rendition of him), as teased at the end of Hellblade 1.
I don’t think we know yet, IIRC there was a thing that came up during the court cases where it was said that CoD wasn’t going to be on GP until 2025 but who knows how accurate that is or if it’s changed
What we do know I believe is that Sony’s marketing doesn’t include the next one
Stephen Totilo has interviewed Sean Stopshaw, head of Disney Gaming. Indiana Jones exclusivity officially confirmed.
On renegotiating the Indiana Jones game’s terms at the request of Microsoft to make it Xbox/PC exclusive, after Microsoft bought its development studio: With “Xbox still being one of the bigger marketplaces for games, we didn’t feel like we were going to be overly exclusionary. We felt like it’s still going to reach a broad set of folks, and we felt, financially and strategically for the game, that made sense at the time.”
so it’s exclusive and they are fine with it
Well I guess anyone who says the Xbox ecosystem is too small to justify exclusivity deals for Disney is just plain wrong. Who would have thought? Btw how big is PC + Xbox in terms of the number of players? Bigger or smaller than Nintendo and PS?
If it was just Xbox I could see it being a bigger issue for Disney but even that maybe isn’t true as long as it makes Disney money
The fact is if they are ok with PS/Switch exclusives, there’s no reason they wouldn’t be ok with PC/Xbox exclusives
Wait so Bethesda exclusivity depends on Matt Booty!!!
I wonder what will he decide…I wonder I wonder ![]()
Technically this was already confirmed by Phil in the US hearings for the ABK case. People still trying to pretend otherwise, including the media have done so in bad-faith, for months.
Just like we know Blade is exclusive (per our own @Shpeshal_Nick; doubting him at this point is akin to lunacy, especially given his batting average compared to… well pretty much every “insider”). Of course, we all know that this is just another source of manufactured controversy, that we’ll see resold for years while the media find their next point of baseless drivel to move onto.
Great news. I hope those who were “concerned” can finally focus on the game itself instead of exclusivity bs🥴
Xbox is very diverse and studios are going well.
I am also quite happy that Zenimax is currently ready to sign its first union agreement, resulting in better conditions for workers. MS should (and is) lead the way in that work sector.
