I think people are just crazy sometimes because why does this need to be said. One thing to question the inconsistency of some platform release expectations, and another to take that to mean a wholesale shift to exclusivity strategy.

The competition has done it for ages
Personally, Id like to see separate gaming hardware go away entirely in the next decade. There will no longer be a need for it. Give me an Xbox app on all devices and universal Xbox controllers and Ill be a happy camper.
Sony gives review copies like two weeks before launch so I’m not sure what you’re referring to.

Have they? Seems like whenever it’s Sony first party review time everyone and their dog has a code.
Being hostile to the media is a sure fire way to attract even more negative attention.

They have definitely taken people off the list for less than favorable reviews. Not that I recommend Xbox do the same lol

Yes. But Playstation has the market share and gets far more reviews. By getting more reviews it reinforces their ability to beat up on outlets and require positive coverage or be blackballed the next time.
