It’s pretty obvious Xbox will be there in some form. It worked really well for Xbox even though Keighley is as cold as ice when he has to say anything about MS or Xbox.
Spanish insider Extas1s says ID is currently working on a new Quake, not Doom Year Zero.
Klobrille also said he looked into it and Doom Year Zero doesn’t exist.
I think they can fit a Doom and a Quake in one generation can’t they?
I didn’t finish Doom DLC, but most people I know said it brought it to a conclusion.
It did, it’s obvious from the title Year Zero implies a prequel.
From the leakers even klobrille saying it doesn’t exist, do they mean now? Cuz that document is pretty evident that this wasn’t development but things can change. Plus I have a belief that they just don’t want to do more doom right now since their story is done
Either way, I don’t think any games from the leak from studios that hadn’t released their projects at the time should be taken as confirmation of anything. That includes Ghostwire 2, Doom, and Dishonored. They are likely notional titles or pitches that weren’t actually in development at the time.
Yeah I understand that, I wouldn’t be surprised if that was from an effort to attract buyers and increase their value tbh.

A few surprises by Xbox would be great. It sure made the show a lot better a few years ago when they had the XSX teaser, that was so out of the blue. And the other show starting with Hellblade 2 was strong too. We’ll find out soon.

Last year, I was particularly disappointed by their absence from the show, perhaps due to the ABK affair. I’d like to think they’ll be there this time.
Well said. I don’t know that the TGA’s have good in boosting sales or engagement for their IP other than Hell Blade 2. I think the Game Pass reel or Shadow drop is what’s best for events like this. If they show anything my bet would be on Tower borne maybe shadow dropping a demo or beta.
I feel Hellblade 2 trailer + release date at TGA.

Nope - Jez was hyping up the show because he’s a Blizzard fan. The part about new IP showing up was never confirmed by him. Most people just assumed it was going to be there.
Perfect Dark was TGA 2020. Hellblade 2 was 2021 and 2019 with the Xbox Series X reveal.
