Xbox Game Studios |OT10| Here are the games

Some people must not remember (or choose not to) the days that most licensed games were garbage.

I wouldnt have jumped on it either.

Mobile only for Netflix but “free” if you have a sub so that’s great?

I could play it on Switch, but, the way I see it all this radio silence on Xbox version is a really shitty way to treat people who supported the first game and after party on Xbox. Contractually obliged or not someone signed up to it.

Not something I’ll support so the only way I’ll play this is if it comes to game pass (and I’ll have paid for it by default).

I remember those days. Before Arkham came out and changed the game. Also the Lego games. If a Spider-Man game was any as good as sunset overdrive it would have been a hit. Just like how Hogwarts is carried by the ip.

But fine nothing wrong to see here. Xbox can do no bad decisions :+1:.

It all evens out. Sony turned down Forza Horizon 4 and 5 and they’ve cumulatively sold 65 million.

Wait, they turned it down? How? When was this? FH has been a Xbox IP since Xbox 360.

How can Sony turn down an Xbox first party game?

Yep. Instead Sony invested in Knack 2 and Detroit Become Human. Also Sony turned down Elder Scrolls 6 for Destruction All Stars.

Please explain how Sony would have the opportunity to turn down Forza Horizon 4 and 5, a series which is owned and funded by Microsoft.

I really wish MS would fund a RECORE 2 and Ryse 2. I find Marvel crap these days and MS are better without it

Amen to that.

If I wanted Marvel, I’d get a PlayStation 5.

I want MS to continue making shooters & western rpg’s. It’s the bread & butter of Xbox & why I became full Xbox owner & not multi-console owner. I hated Spiderman on the PS4. It was shallow nonsense surfing on the Marvel wave.

Sony can’t turn down what is never offer. That 65 milion is players not copies sold.

Nevermind, i see you trolling lol.

I think he is trolling, but if not god please help us lol

I agree as well, but I’m talking about the health of the brand and drawing casuals in. I know people that got a ps5 for Hogwarts due to marketing and mainly ip power. These big IPs attract casuals.

Well, there were rumors a few years ago that Sony was about to buy Zenimax.

Yeah, good times, lmfao.

these “what if i had a time machine” discussions are always so futile

In the last couple of years, Microsoft has purchased a number of IP with games that outsell (or sell equivalently) the ones you’re referring to.

I think it all worked it self out when it comes to Spider-Man. Insomniac making it was the best outcome as a gamer.

Plus we have Indiana Jones coming up.

I believe Sony knows Bethesda was looking to sell. They just can’t afford them, or was not willing to invest that much.

Sony sign them Deathloop and Ghostwire timed exclusive deals, rumor of also trying to get Starfield timed deal, but MS step in and willing to pay Bethesda asking price.

I would love to know if Sony is happy with how Deathloop and Ghostwire did or if they regret it.

Both Ghost and Loop did not set anything on fire with sales, so probably not. I’m sure Arkane and Tango got the better end of the deal IMO.

Besides cod, those super IPs like fallout and elder scrolls take a long time to make plus all the studios are busy, so it does nothing for me or the brand.
