QB’s gameplay is far better than Control, as is its story/voice acting. Control’s setting and style are incredible, though I found the combat mediocre and the story straight up bad. A QB2 with more time, which Xbox can give now, could be excellent but Remedy is too busy.

I didn’t know that about Control. I did buy it but barely played it, I’ll get to it…eventually, haha.
I look forward to AW2 to see how they’ve improved the combat there.
Control has a mix of cool powers that don’t flow as well as QB, and far worse difficulty spikes.

I prefer the story and characters in Quantum Break but prefer the combat and gameplay in Control. Wouldn’t mind a sequel to Quantum Break (and Control) but im much more hyped for Alan Wake 2 and the two Max Payne remakes.

I found control pretty mediocre in general
Very repetitive environments and enemies, a surprisingly boring story considering the unique setting and just uninteresting characters in general

MS would be dumb not to eventually do a Quantum Break 2. They own the IP after all. I enjoyed the gameplay immensely but I could see where it could be improved with a sequel.
I still need to get around to playing Control at some point.

It didn’t sell well and reviews weren’t outstanding, so Microsoft likely do not agree with you. As much as I want QB 2, if it was going to happen, it would have happened already.
The best case scenario is that Remedy are able to gain control of the IP and have QB be part of the Remedy Connected Universe going forward.
Xbox should have acquired Remedy ten years ago and invested in them to become their Naughty Dog. Thankfully, Remedy is fiercely invested in staying independent (as evidenced by how they’re currently working with four different publishers at the same time), so their games will stay multiplatform at least for the generation.
Edit: I disagree that QB has better gameplay than Control. It’s still great but Control far outshines it in my opinion.

Quantum Break walked so Control could run.
Throughout Control it’s evident how they built upon a lot of the aspects from QB.

Control doesn’t happen if they didn’t have the resources they built from QB. That game created the foundation for their recent games. Also, it’s like this tweet below where Xbox one games are now considered underrated since it was on that toxic console .

100% a few of them aren’t thought of as highly as they should be.
Ryse is another one. A game that had incredible potential for a sequel. Great setting. Great visuals. Obviously the quick-time combat would’ve been changed alongside some other things in a sequel but it genuinely could have been Xbox’s God of War.

It’s kinda crazy how good the game still looks to this day. There have been rumors that Ryse 2 is coming, albeit multiplatform this time around.

I still believe sunset overdrive was one of the best games of last gen. I wish it got a 60fps boost. Also that’s another game that created a foundation because you can see SSO mechanics in Spider-Man

I really enjoyed it… only compalint i recall having is that there is alot of colors and wacky shapds. Resulting in having a tendency to loose track of my character

Ryse, Forza 5, Dead Rising 3, Killer Instinct vs Killzone Shadowfall and Knack…
The marketing cycle and the stupid policies just destroyed the potential Microsoft had at launch.
