That’s actually very nice that MS is basically letting these studios stay themself. The first thought of many people would be that ''oh no, a mega corporation owns us now, things will change drastically and not for the better for everyone. ‘’ but it sounds the exact opposite is the case here. Really nice! And MS hasn’t always been like this, weren’t they pretty much blamed for how it all went wrong with Phantom Dust and such?
As for MS keeping games mostly to their systems, yeah good point there. Sony indeed seems to do it more. But i also think this whole narrative that Xbox will bring these huge titles to other platforms is because Phil has said something about wanting to bring Game Pass everywhere. These people however forget that if say…Sony says ‘‘nah,we’re good’’ that’s where it ends.
And yeah, of course that whole thing about how Xbox needs PS and that it can’t be only Xbox and PC for these huge games, that Game Pass costs a lot of money and ‘‘isn’t sustainable, possible’’ bla bla. MS spend so much money on that company and then they would keep em all multiplatform, might as well not have bought em at all then.
Sounds a bit like Michael Pachter to me, haha.

Yep. This is the ace that Microsoft is holding up their sleeve and I cannot wait to see which games are getting the Series S/X enhancements.
Well IGN have already shit the bed and uploaded Series X gameplay of Yakusa, so we know that should be coming really soon and we also know the people who have received Series Xs are still under embargo for stuff, which definitely includes some Series X gameplay. I therefore think this Monday is not a bad shout for some more news.

They were, but since the Mojang acquisition, it has changed. There is an article about that.
Now they let their studios keep their culture absolutely intact. Every interview I have watched with people from many of the acquired studios say that: their culture is kept intact, everything is the same except now they don’t need to worry about where to get money to keep the studio running and they now have access to all the Microsoft and Xbox Game Studios support and resources. There’s an interview where someone says that if he has to solve something related to a game, how to do something, they can just pick up the phone and ask if Microsoft has someone that knows how to do that, and they usually have. The studios are all sharing tech, talking about their experiences and such.
As always: the narratives are born out of despair, jealousy and saltiness.

I haven’t listened to Colin since he left kinda funny but he was always contrarian. One example that I remember specifically was that infinite warfare was way better than titanfall 2 and he didn’t understand the praise for titanfall. People are entitled to their opinions but he did that pretty frequently. He also had a show called Colin was right but was frequently wrong. The switch was going to be a failure was one of his last big predictions. I never hated Colin like a lot of people do but he’s definitely not as smart as he thinks he is.

Oh nice one. I had no idea Phil came back to that. Ima take this link and post it in a reply on Twitter to someone that just keeps harping on about how MS will want the 70$ from PS5 Bethesda games, lol. And how Phil doesn’t care about console wars (true) and even wants Halo on PS. (LMAO).

I think that makes things very clear. But yet folks think they will bring their biggest company’s games to the competition? Lol, just lol. Had it been Sony or Nintendo nobody would have been going “for sure we’ll get these games too.” we would all be sad pandas because we think in a logical way and use common sense.
