I can’t stand English dubs in something that is Japanese. Absolutely horrible. I see no reason for them to remove the Japanese dubs at all. All Yakuza games had them, didn’t they? The devs know very well that many people prefer the original voices.
I remember trying FF15 in English, I changed that shit back to Japanese instantly.

The first PS2 game was english only dub and I’m not sure about the second Yakuza. After that every game was only japanese dub.

Man, the people at Xbox know what they are doing, fucking love this. I can’t say that enough. Replaying these BC games is gonna be great.

Fully agree, Japanese sub is absolutely the best. When switching to English voices, I always find them so cringy.

Do we know how many BC games and which ones will get auto HDR? I think it’s not a feature for every single game, correct?
Amazing how we’re getting games from 2002-2008 that look superblurry today (and often with awkward colours and such) get HDR and in some cases even native 4K. Even on PC a lot of old games need fan-made patches to support higher resolutions (or newer OS’, for that matter), the fact this is all native on XSX is so good. Will make going back to some games even better.

haha wow, the Yakuza I tried on Game Pass wasn’t like this at all. Are there like all sorts of minigames and a bigger story? Or is it just with this new one.

They are all like that but this one is turn based combat vs brawler for the previous ones. From Yakuza 0 to Yakuza 6 it is the saga of Kiryu. Yakuza Like A Dragon is a new saga of a brand new character.
