lmao phil this is what i’m talking about
Exactly. Don’t see any benefit in releasing the next Fallout or ES on PS5 But ESO will continue to be on Playstation. Also we’re getting to a point, where Sony has to allow Xbox Live / Microsoft account login on their console just like they do with EA or Activision.
Otherwise they’ll lose access to games like Minecraft and ESO on Playstation at some point.
I think you made Phil mad and this is how he responded .
Xbox has no games👀
OMG
Now that I have had some time to mull things over, I need to be objective. Barring Asobo, I hope this is the last acquisition.
This is a fantastic get for Xbox and a great investment in the future of Elder Scrolls and Fallout. However, I started playing Elder Scrolls and Fallout on the PS3. Those experiences transformed me into the gamer I am today. I don’t want to rob future PS fans of that. The barrier to entry with Xbox is thankfully lower than ever, but this is a bummer to PS fans and my heart goes out to them.
I do wonder what happens with Ghostwire and Deathloop, as well as the publishing staff. MS is good at reducing layoffs at least.
Big play for next gen and I hope we get to see Bethesda get a big glow up in polish!
Got mine in for 3 years. Deserved increase though
so I guess 20 by 20 won in the end ?
WOW!
What a great way to start off the week.
So nervous about pre-orders tomorrow, I hope I can get one!
So now, we can safely say that Starfield will come for sure to Xbox.
lol
No way he knew that. Would be the story of his life to put that out.
lol
Just a reminder that Tokyo Game Show is also in 2 days, with an Xbox appearance for the first time in 5 years. Hopefully well get at least one or two things then
In my brief foray into the Twitter lurking (and other outlets) everyone seems to be freaking out about the games. Either getting them on Xbox or potentially losing them on PS. While I agree with the excitement on that front, I’m VERY excited to see how MS’s now MASSIVE library and studio collection may drive adoption of some of their technologies. How will Xbox Velocity Architecture and other new paradigms really change gaming for the better with this much nearly guaranteed adoption of those new technologies?
I’m so excited thinking of the detail the next Elder Scrolls games can bring! I remember being WOW’d on the 360 with Oblivions panormaic views. Playing Doom on the Xbox family? Especially if they Series S|X enhance them! Beyond the new games coming out that will use the S|X technology, I can’t stop hoping they practice with their back catalog and apply S|X enhancements to their entire library. Then use that knowledge and make new games (and new IPs?) what will blow any gamer’s hair back!
Amazing news!
So Xbox’s next gen RPG schedule could realistically be-- Fable, Avowed, Fallout 5, Elder Scrolls 6, and Starfield. And that’s without even taking into account unannounced titles from inXile, Obsidian, and anything else up Bathesda’s sleeve. This is absolutely insane.
