…XSX for the same price. I reckon the 400 DE is what Sony was waiting out for in the price baiting game. That’s a good move in their part rather than being 450. Still think the 300 XSS is going to dominate the budget space though.

PS plus collection - Great idea, but still a bit weak and doesn’t touch games pass. It still leaves the backwards compatibility window wide open and hugely ambiguous.

Confusion??? - Sony’s messaging seems to have gone out the window for this? Dark souls coming to other consoles? And launching holiday not launch? Miles Morales Holiday 2020 rather than launch? Other PS games reportedly cross gen after firm pushes from Sony PR that ‘they believe in generations‘?

I know Geoff tweeted some of this out, but why hasn’t Sony announced it? Something doesn’t seem right.

However, Greenberg did say “doesn’t mean they can’t come to Xbox One” when he said the games were Series X first. But I really, really don’t see Hellblade 2, Avowed and Fable coming to Xbox One.

After the Sony event they have enough momentum. They don’t need to be market leader. They sandwich the ps5 in price, stronger and have the best feature in Gamepass.

Sony didn’t say anything about the SSD at all. They even didn’t show what you can with the new controller at this event. It feels like Jim Ryan likes the marketing strategy from Microsoft.

Its why Aaron Greenberg made sure after Sonys show in June to make it 100% clear that all those third party games Sony showed were also coming to Xbox and some jack asses attacked him for it.

But it’s good PR you have to make it clear to people that no these games are coming to Xbox too.

Oooo boy. The PS5’s cooling system is sure going to have to do some serious heat transfer come November. Just goes to show how far that APU is being pushed when you consider the difference between the Series X and One X.
