That looks very snappy, very fast! I wonder how many games we can do this with in total. And can we just quick resume only XSX games if we want or is there a limit to it? I’ll be trying this out as soon as I have one.
I would say 3 current-next gen games and 4-5 with a mix of older games. Maybe Series X might be able to resume more games. Due to more RAM bit know can be the same too for both
They always show the feature using the last 4 played games in the guide. I would assume that this is the limit.
Once third party games, that sell for holiday show off what they do on next gen, the hype to buy them for the bigger crowd will occur.
That was great to show that gears 5 can do 120fps on series s. “If they can do that, many other games can do it too!”
That smiley in Phil’s tweet says it all.
Months we waited for Series X gameplay and what do we get? Series S gameplay as soon as it’s announced, lol.
I get it though, well, kinda. The XSS is the one that the majority of people will buy. I can see that thing become a big success, even in The Netherlands, at that price. It now getting more detailed attention is kinda basic logic.
We have series x gameplay but not what people wanted. Lol
Sheesh, all this good news and you focus on that?
We had brief seconds of Gears 5 and that’s it. It’s a valid argument, it’s also no really big deal or anything. Just something I noticed.
And no, I have been focusing all day on the great news. The price, the release date, EA play. Come on now.
full 4k
will be sexy
Jesus, sounds like Ubi went all out for that badboy (XSX). All that sounds fantastic.
As for the loading times of The Outer Worlds, I wonder if that’s unpatched like State of Decay 2 was as well and thus the SSD making that difference, or if ToW was patched for that. Either way, it’s great. Witcher 3 loading times should be much better too.
I’m excited to see how the differences between XSX and XSS pan out. Hopefully XSS will be 60 fps with 1440p
That’s the plan, only thing that should scale is resolution and a few graphical effects but performance “should” be the same.
That would be nuts. XSS is technical wizardry.
Going to be some real salt if it’s outperforming the Ps5 because the Ps5 is going for 4k and the Series S is going for 1440p.
There’s also xCloud, Live Gold, and Perks includes with Ultimate. Plus, now EA Play. So no, not useless.
Did they say if pre orders go live at midnight
Apparently on the 22nd
I actually was wondering if PS5 is gonna get the game in 60fps as well or if this is where we’re already gonna see the difference between XSX and PS5. But since MS has the marketing rights on the game I understand why they don’t mention PS5 at all. It’s probably 60fps across the board for all then. If XSS is gonna do 60fps at 1440p, PS5 should easily be able to, but maybe not at the full fat native 4K.
Gonna be lovely to play such a game in smooth 60fps, oh man.
