Xbox Game Studios |OT| Halo...is it me you’re looking for?

Agree. Moreover, Kamyia and friends really behaved like jerks during that live on Youtube while celebrating the funding of the wonderful 101. I would never hire these people again. Let’s move on.

40%. I think they’re interested and price is probably not an issue but i could see 2K or EA outbidding them.

Some Fable concept art! Or maybe the artist was hired to work on the project based on this body of work, either way, I think there’s gonna be a strong sense of fantasy and rich biomes playing into the gameplay, perhaps even bringing their seasons tech from Horizon into this

Let’s all just let scalebound die and focus our efforts on getting phantom dust reboot happening. It’s a perfect game for gamepass and could be a great game as a “platform”

Wow, that last one is awesome. Not necessarily for Fable, but I’d love a fantasy game set in a world like that.

somebody on twitter suggested that if the WB deal went through, Monolith could bring back Scalebound and tbh, it just made immediate sense to me!

Yes, Xbox really needs to massively improve its marketing for the next generation.

Here in Europe you see tons of PS4 and Switch ads on the TV and almost no Xbox One ads. Sony also spent a lot of money to acquire the FIFA and COD marketing rights which is great for them in Europe regarding the casual players.

Xbox needs to spend a lot more now if they want to be serious in Europe.

I really liked this quote from Booty on BE in that removed Polygon article (has it ever gone up again?)

So, I think that that game was put together by a team that was a chance for some up-and-coming designers that we are invested in long-term for the future, to flex their design muscles and get a game out. I think it’s a good chance for Ninja Theory to take a step with a kind of game that they haven’t made before. And then we had an audience for it within Game Pass. Although, you know, we haven’t talked about numbers, but it found a good community of players within Game Pass. So I don’t have any regrets about something like Bleeding Edge , at all. And I think it’s going to be important for us to be willing to empower studios to take steps to make things, because the problem is, you never know what’s going to lead to what, right?

How their studios can take more risks and how MS can offer interesting opportunities for game designers who want to try something different.

Hahaha, I’m with Phil, I’m ready to move past Scalebound too. I think they’d be smarter to go with a new ip without the baggage from fans and trolls, and i think they realize that.

Thanks, I checked and didn’t have that ticked, but I ticked it and untouched it so hopefully it’ll fix it.

Agree. Some things just need to be let go to move forward. I feel like people are more in love with the mythology or idea of Scalebound after it was canceled than they were of the game when in development.

Phantom Dust seems like a game that has a real chance on Game Pass. As weird as it sounds, Slay the Spire opened up my eyes to how great card game strategies could be and makes me want to explore this weird mix of 3rd person adventure and a card game. It has a passionate following and I think leveraging that on Game Pass gives it an interesting chance.

In 40 minutes Samsung will host their event. Expect some xCloud news there.

I just hope xCloud won’t be exclusive to Samsung devices. They should just make the app available to all major platforms with the addition of this type of collaboration/deal.

not gonna happen, lmao they’re trying to remove as many barriers and get away from this “exclusive” tirade only to do the same shit on mobile? It’ll probably just be new Samsung phones/devices that come with the app and a few months of GP:U slapped in during purchase.

Not surprised to be honest, Apple is like the old MS on that front. Well, time to buy an Android phone then ( or Surface Duo ).
