Its almost like things got delayed and now they are internally scheduled for 2023.

After Starfield and Redfall delays, I chalked up the entire year as an L for Xbox so whatever happens at the showcase in terms of this year will be a delightful surprise if something does release this year for my self.

In terms of GP games/exclusives: Forza Motorsport, Starfield, RedFall, Stalker 2, Atomic Heart, Replaced all in first half seems pretty insane to me. If we get Avowed and/or Hellblade 2 as well that is straight up wild for a single calendar year.

But thatās a good thing for acquisitions. During dry periods Microsoft always acquires somebody.
No launch games - Bethesda acquisition. Dry H1 2022 - ABK acquisition. Would not be surprised if they announce NRS acquisition soon

Yep after those delays iv kinda just expected this as a nothing year and im over it, got enough to play on GP anyway and just looking forward to the showcase and 2023
It isnāt speculation when insiders with great track records are claiming they have heard from sources games are coming next year or whatnot. That isnāt what speculation means. Those arenāt āguessesā.

You said the brand would take a hit, to me that would be something that would effect console sales
It hasnāt the first half of this year, I dont expect that to change
Itāll be dry for tentpole games, but AoE, Deathloop and maybe Pentiment. As Dusk Falls and hopefully Somerville too as partnerships for GP. It wonāt be literally dry in general, just for major releases imho. Which is a shame.
If we count As dusk falls then we should include W40k too. For Game Pass, also A Plague Tale then.

FWIW, I believe if MS said they plan on releasing at least 5 games in FY2023 they said so because they are confident. I understand people are hesitant about believing release dates, but all we have to go on is what we are being told.
