I’ve noticed that, even though I don’t really understand why. I’ve greatly enjoyed every single one of the games; yes, some were definitely better than others, but there wasn’t a bad game in the bunch IMO.

Which is asinine. It’s an Xbox exclusive that has a large following and often the Gears-haters drive any excitement by fans of the series into the ground… it’s almost always a condescending and bad-faith discussion. I like Gears, plenty of people obviously do, and their enjoyment literally has no effect on you as a gamer.

We’ve had a game in the franchise every 2 or 3 years for over 15 years and it’s barely evolved since the first, people just find it stale at this point I feel and people think the studio is capable of better things
