Microsoft had gameplay ready for Avowed in the 2021ā¦ feargus Urquhart said we would see it soonā¦ but hindle says theyāre keeping it for E3 2023.

Iām expecting to see a trailer for the rumoured kojima game and announcement of a FROM exclusive for the Xbox ecosystem (remember Philās shelf people!)
TGAs more like. So December and plans change. Maybe they show it at E3, maybe they donāt.

What kind of trailer you expecting, a logo? Doubt the game has been in the works for more than 6 months and itās experimental which (IMO) makes it less likely to show early.

A logo is good enough for me.
Literally all Xbox has been for years is the hype of potential. I personally donāt think this is the year we finally get our payoff, I think that is next year and beyond.
Give me multiple logos, thatās fine with me, as long as they come to GamePass day 1 when they are done.
This year I donāt even expect Redfall. Only Starfield, Forza and seasonal updates for their ālive serviceā titles.

I have said before I think Avowed is 100% shown this year. Chances are 90% in June, 10% TGAs.

I have little doubt that the payoff is this year (in terms of E3 showings) with releases beginning this winter and going pretty steady from then on.
I would like zero logos, they have plenty of concrete things to show lol.
The payoff is when they have 1 or more huge titles every quarterā¦ That just isnāt there yet unfortunately but the promise of a better tomorrow keeps me a fan, and GamePass

Iām not showing a logo of a. Experimental cloud native game that is barely in pre production. Too much risk that it doesnāt work out.

I am too. I have a soft spot for Avalanche and the concept of the game is so intriguing and doesnāt seem like a mix weāve seen before.

Would be nice to get confirmation but probably too soon. I doubt we see any cloud native announcements until they are far along enough to actually talk through (or show) how the cloud is actually benefitting things.
The Kojima game is definitely getting revealed at a Geoff Keighley show, when they show it. But we can see the next Tango game.
Maybe not announce a title but definitely announce that youāre working with Kojima, for sure.
And speaking of cloud native games, from the way Jez has talked about IOIās Project Dragon, I predict that that game might be among the games involved in the cloud native initiative in some way
