They put Yakuza twice and didn’t list Puyo Puyo at all even though it’s an active series. Boo!!! 
Sure but dont think Sega is worth more than Zenimax lol.
They will merely claim that Suda51’s Grasshopper Manufacture doesn’t have enough social relevance to be protected by the laws, but all other companies would. This has already happened on forums elsewhere.

So far, no. But the investment fund behind it have shares in some big publishers including Activision Blizzard. With this company however, they’re focusing on eSports and have acquired ESL and FACEIT for that, other than that it’s also aiming on improving the local gaming market structure, which entails game development and possibly studio size acquisitions, but my guess would be partnerships (with Epic or Unity for example) for a better local game development scene, but who knows.

Some studios are a not a problem here. MS Is continuing to search other Studios to expand their IPs portfolio and having more talented people under the same gaming division (Microsoft gaming)

today’s shareholders report revealed higher revenues but poor profits due to increased production costs…obviously they will have to sell something to increase their production budget…so WBIE still on the table
I honestly don’t think MS or even others see value in WBIE, not for the suggested price of $4B at least. I used to think it’d be a great pick because of the studios but realistically those studios don’t give any buyer much control over something to leverage
I think if WB don’t want the gaming division anymore they’ll sell studios individually first, and then just licence their IP to others, like Disney and Marvel do.

And TT as well, at the very least (WB Montreal has incredibly talented people that shouldn’t be forgotten in this discussion). TT would provide another opportunity for Xbox leadership to clean house, get their crunch under control, and elevate their E offerings.

If Xbox acquired TT, could they just add Lego games into Game Pass or would they need to make a deal with the Lego company?
They just announced the go ahead of a sequel to that awful MK movie. So if they buy them do you think WB keeps the film rights and MS gets everything else?
yep…Zaslav is focused on movies and TV.
Depends on the state of the license (would it be included in the sale, is it even transferrable given Lego being a separate entity than all parties, etc.).

Extremely unlikely, there aren’t a lot of AAA studios for sale anymore. Microsoft had a clear focus for big IP and they achieved that without a doubt.
What they still lack are games in some genres and more workforce to stabilise the schedule.
Would be dumb to let them get away.
The market is crazy at the moment. Don’t forget Gearbox got sold for $1.3 billion. Mortal Kombat with Netherrealm could easily be worth the same at this point. The inflation is at a record high and the asked $4 billion could look like a steal in 2024.
