The only newer studios that I really want are Humanoid and JP Games

The only companies where they would do the whole we must be multiplat are Take Two with GTA and maybe EA with FIFA. I don’t think there are many publishers left with huge mega hits, I guess Epic with Fortnite too.
Even with T2 I think GTA mainline will be exclusive - by the time it releases - assuming Microsoft buy it soon - it will be also exclusive. GTA Online will be available though.
I would personally like to see a shitshow with japanese publishers because “no way they can skip Playstation or Switch” 
I mean with COD people believe that mainline stays multiplatform, but we are talking about the games that historically was more or less Playstation tied.
Like Capcom for example - people would 100% claim that RE or DMC will be multiplatform (and those are the games that has been historically multiplatform), but something like Dead Rising will be exclusive and so on.
I would take Haven and Embark

At this stage the only studio - out of hundreds without famous IPs - that make sense and that is Certain Affinity.

I’m pretty sure the last two/three studios Jade Redmond headed up got closed down.
I wouldn’t put any faith in Haven until they have demonstrated something (this is coming from an AC fan!).
Did they even make anything big recently?
I wouldn’t bet a dollar on Haven releasing anything at all and additionally they would be locked to the Sony IP for many years.

Certain Affinity would be a wise pick up and I’d say SkyBox Labs too, because both companies helped make Halo: Infinity.

That Gollum game looks real interesting to me. If it turns out to be as good as I’m hoping it’ll be, this acquisition might prove to have been pretty well timed. And this deal even happening is a bit of an endorsement of the game, so it gives me hope.

My bet was on Embracer for Daedalic.
I like in the press release they say in the first sentence “one of the most anticipated games of 2022 LOTR: Gollum”…….lol

I like what Nacon is building. I hope they give these devs resources because they have a few that could deliver us high quality AAA games.
Well eventually new big publishers will arise.
They may have some promising studios, but I think they lack the necessary money.
You laugh, but it is definitely up there for me. I love me some stealth games, and I’ve been a huge Middle Earth fan since I was a kid, long before the movies came out.
So a stealth game set in that universe, following Gollum during the same timeline as the books? Yes, please!
The only other games this year I’m looking forward to as much or more are Deathlooop, Starfield, and hopefully Hogwarts Legacy.
Does Platinum going all “Notice me Phil-Senpai” count as apart of my streak?
