I am not asking for real time traffic. What I am asking is to remake Truck Simulator using Flight Simulator Engine. If the game - whether it is Truck Simulator or Train Simulator - could achieve decent level of details on the ground level, I don’t see a reason why it can’t be achieved with Asobo’s engine.

I am talking Euro Truck Simulator using Asobo’s engine. I don’t understand where the confusion comes from, but my point is if other simulator games could make the in-game maps similar to the real world, I see no reason why it can’t be done using Asobo’s engine. All these low level details will improve the ground level earth in Microsoft Flight Simulator too.

all the partners in Flightsim have some very good tech, and can be considered one of the acq targets.

Same boat, I literally made the joke of “It’s organic growth if the console I like is doing it” and got 3 fucking weeks for that. But I’m done there. It’s awful. Fuck it. I like 90% of this place a whole lot (just some small complaints about how how blocking people works), so I’ll just stay here. Never should have left, really.

That place is a cesspool where you can easily get banned because you disagreed with someone or had a different opinion, and recently one of the mods banned the japan sales figure guy for some internal jealous. that’s a challenge, but it has already been solved by Google and Apple, in big cities at least. their geometry interpolation of buildings is light years ahead of what’s available on Bing Maps.

Geometry Interpolation may not work. Still low detail for a Truck sim.

AI generation will be required and model creators will be required in the initial stage.
