They won’t but they’ll get marketing rights for DC games because I don’t think Microsoft ever got the marketing for DC games

Just having the marketing rights is not that big though, if they keep making DC games after SS and GK are done it should be for Xbox and PC only.

They have 7 locations and the only one in a problematic country is the Russian one. The main office is in Belgium. I doubt that the location of a small support studio would impede a MS acquisition.

Hey man. Microsoft was already at the table willing to buy Square before the Enix merger or even had a console on the market.
Xbox is a bit more invested in gaming today then they were in the year 2000

A lot of people seem to be opening new studios in Barcelona lol. Smilegate did it too, and they got the Fallout New Vegas and Horizon Zero Dawn writer on board

Larian is nice but wouldn’t try to acquire them unless they are literally about to be bought by someone. Other priorities at xbox tbh than another rpg studio lol.
