A premium above their market value. As long as EA Play is bundled with XGP, not sure there’s a need to buy EA.

Nothing will cause an antitrust investigation unless Microsoft bought Sony, Nintendo or Valve.

I,don’t see valve as warranting an anti trust, youmstill have pc placesxto purchase games from. Nintendo and sony are walled communities.

Yeah I agree. They don’t currently have enough marketsshare.
If people could stop editing the title against the grain of the other OTs that would be great…
Too much for Microsoft
Bioware and Bizarre Creations were the biggest miss of initial 360 days, partially because of RROD and 2008 financial crisis, back then MS wasn’t all in gaming, not even close, Ballmer green lighted the warranty extension for RROD only to save MS face, not out of love for Xbox.

Nothing is too much for Microsoft. It all comes down to what they bring to the table.
CD Projekt Red at 6 billion is an awful investment while Zenimax at that price (assuming its identical for example purposes) is not.

I think EA is. Would be Microsoft’s largest acquisition of all time. Some kind of merger, maybe? But an outright buy? It would cost $60 Billion or so which is over half their cash.
IMO spend $30 Billion on Capcom, Square Enix, Ubisoft and Sega…then that’s an automatic win and with the win comes the majority of all EA business.

Yeah, I also think EA and Acti-Bliz are simply too costly for the benefits you are acquiring, I think T2 20 billions are the most MS would shell for a gaming acquisition.

I wonder if xbox will give hardsuit labs(bloodlines 2, blacklight) a chance to make a game
The developer dont seem to be in a good position right now so ms could help them, they are in Seattle so I dont think that it will be a problem talk with them, maybe they can make a new shadow run or a new crackdown, who knows
