A new weekly feature from Kat - Let us know what you’re playing, vote in the poll or write something right here in the forums. <3
Hello Kat and Sik and have a great weekend! ![]()
It’s also cloudy (and potentially rainy) here in Athens as well so to make this weekend more colorful I will be playing Keeper and Virtua Fighter 5: R.E.V.O. WS! Voted for Keeper in the poll! ![]()
The Outer Worlds 2!
Another excellent game from Obsidian, this year! Pretty decent output.
The only new thing I’m playing this weekend is Ninja Gaiden 4. I just got a month of PC Game Pass and I’m catching up on a LOT of games that I’m still not done with: Doom The Dark Ages, Avowed and Forza Motorsport chief among them, but I also have to continue Indiana Jones and Forza Horizon 5.
Yes, my backlog is brutal.
Arc Raiders.
Approximately 26 hours put into the game. Level 22. Absolutely loving this game and im just scavenging and whatnot in the Dam Battlegrounds. Been to the Buried City and the Spaceport once to get in and extract so I could get the 10 cred. Most players have been cool and say “don’t shoot” which when they do, I leave them be but if not, it’s a shootout!!! lol
One run I had the items I needed for a quest and ran into the elevator to extract and the guy who ran in there after me killed me before I could activate the damn thing. It’s all fair and whatnot but there should be an unwritten rule where you get in the elevator, everyone leaves with their goods. Hehehe.
The supply drop quest is annoying. First, you don’t know where the radio is to signal for it until you’re close to the area and it then goes on the map and second, when you complete the signal, the supply drop lands on a higher spot and it’s like, what the hell? Tried to get and fell to my death. I was not happy. Embark needs to fix this because what’s the point in signaling for a supply drop but you can’t get the supplies? UGH.
Other than that, I have some minor nitpicks but not serious. More personal preference than anything.
DRGS. I don’t love it. Play maybe one run a day. Don’t hate it, I keep playing one run a day. Just been too lazy to invest time into a new game right now.
The Outer Worlds 2 - Having a blast with the game, though I feel I should lower the difficulty from very hard soon.
Baldur’s Gate 3 - Just restarted a new game after feeling like I have hit my stride with the modded version of thw game. Employing my strats and using some by others, I have quuckly pushed my way towards the getting back to were my modded game left off.
Deep Rock Galactic Survivor - Fell off this game for quite a bit, but I’m doing some quick sessions and finding myself struggling in stage 2 worlds.
Halls Of Tormemt - Just recently played a game and while I made it to the boss in the final boss in the first area. I need to learn what works best for me with upgrades. Because as soon as the boss was at 80% health it started to feel like it was given a speed boost and I couldn’t keep up.
Howdy, so for me I’m trying to keep the weekend simple and actually finish two games, Digimon Story Time Stranger & Hades 2. Both are nearly done. I’ve been hooked on Time Stranger since release as a childhood Digimon fan, and I’m currently in the endgame; Hades 2 I’ve had since steam early access, so everything is upgraded and done through early access (I just need to hunker down and do the runs necessary to finish).
If I have the time, I also want to try and at least get through the character creation and start of The Outer Worlds 2 (I finished downloading it), and I’ve already been distracted by the new Vampire Survivors update. Overwatch is also always lurking for me. I might also hop between a few others, but I’m hoping to stay focused and just finish Digimon and Hades.
I am also playing Digimon Story Time Stranger. I’m up to a boss fight (Sharkmon) and recently I got ultimate evolutions. I’m not sure how far in the game I am. I have about 13 hours and have been doing every side quest possible.
I’m also playing Tekken 8 online ranked. Steve main.
Just started The Outer Worlds 2 and am already loving it.
NOT Pumpkin Jack, sorry/not sorry Nick
YES Borderlands 4, thanks to Jess who gave me an awesome and functional controller.
And Keeper, thanks to Jon and his adorable daughter who gave this grumpy old bastard the bravery to stick to it
I played several games, including Destiny 2, Keeper, Eastward, and Phasmophobia.
I finally brought myself to complete the Edge of Fate campaign, but not yet done with the exotic mission. I am intrigued by the story and the campaign was fun, but I felt like it dragged on too long. I’m mixed on the abilities like matterspark, but it did create some interesting boss fights. I’ll return to the game for Renegades, but not sure how long I’ll stick with it if they’re not adding more interesting activities and rolling back all the stuff that made the grind terrible.
