The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is out now

He could be sensative to frame pacing lile I am, or he’s playing in PC or PS5 and maybe he’s running into issues.

But shouldn’t VRR make short work of that? But again, I’m not far. The prologue was smooth sailing and I’ve only briefly explored outside that area.

It should, for me it does so for Elden Ring but for Oblivion Remastered it doesn’t seem to work.

Is this better? https://x.com/KGUA2024/status/1915207520907649351

Still among the best developers out there.

Man this game is crazy slow. Takes forever to get through the sewers and to get anywhere in the map. And you can’t even jump what kind of madness is this. I mean once i see a shop keeper i briefly gain the ability to jump and run but it goes away so quickly.

But seriously i really need to stop grabbing everything i see lol

I usually play a heavy armor warrior in Elder Scrolls, but I chose the barbarian class this time so I could specialize in light armor instead and spare my carry capacity.

Me playing ESO and experiencing the most amount of lore added in TES:

Also, some have caught on that there have been changes to Oblivion to reflect ESO lore.

Press Y on the default scheme.

Are there specifics on what the differences are supposed to be? I usually pick the 60 fps option, if its defined.

O I know it was just a bad joke about how i spend probably 95 percent of the time over encumbered and you can’t jump or move fast in that situation lol

Haha! Gotcha! That does dampen the jumping. Sorry I missed the subtlties.

This a not a detailed look at performance yet (it sounded like several more videos are coming!), but John and Alex play the game side-by-side on modern and 2006-era PCs and just do a freewheeling comparison conversation.

Just from the short time they spent on the graph for the Seriex X footage that frame time is super bad.

Virtuos has some work to do cleaning things up, which I’m sure DF will highlight in future videos. I’ve mostly been happy with the performance mode on Series X but smoother would be better!

It unfortunately doesn’t work for me, whatever is going on with Oblivion Remaster it makes it impossible to play without getting a headache.
