It’s the best one from the Reboot trilogy imo.

As a game I thought this was a letdown after loving the original reboot. I mostly remember it for the media uproar over the concept of a moneyhatted Xbox timed exclusive. Compared to the crickets for Final Fantasy VII Remake or any number of other business-as-usual PlayStation timed exclusives.

Had one hell of a good time playing through this. Shadow just didn’t do it, at all.
I have no idea what to expect from a new one, but I’ll keep my expectations low.
Yeah, the media coverage and backlash were so bad and unwarranted. Tribalism in plain sight for everyone to see. Xbox tax was real, always has been.
I loved the game so much. I think I finished it in Souls like mode that only saves at campfires. Good pacing, surprisingly good story and top tier graphics and gameplay.

Remember buying the Xbox One ROTTR bundle since I didn’t want to wait for the game to be released on PS4. It’s easily my best and favorite of the rebooted trilogy. Fun Fact: ROTTR was my 2016 game of the year due to it releasing on PS4 and it being my primary gaming console for last generation. Plus, nothing was beating out The Witcher 3 for me so I kinda fudged 2016 since I didn’t really have any game close or better than ROTTR. Hehehe.
