Well, there goes my evening. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

The quest for completing a Game Pass game was completed, but it’s currently asking me if I own the game and not letting me play it.

This + the fact it’s available on the cloud suggest it’s coming to Game Pass later today.

I hope 2 and 3 are coming on Xbox. But even playing Quake 1 is great. I’m so pumped. I wanted to play Quake on console for so long !

Downloading right now via Game Pass. Hopefully it unlocks asap.

EDIT: just saw the update above . Come on download, hurry up.

Bah, a little less hype knowing 2 and 3 aren’t on console. 3 I understand, it’s a PC multiplayer shooter through and through. Maybe a litle too fast paced for console. They could have put 2 on though. It has it’s own campaign and stuff. Oh well, I’ll dig into 1.

Will it support m+kb on console?

Quake 2 and 3 must be coming on consoles at a later date. I mean, come on, Quake 3 Arena was on 360 as a XBLA game.

There’s also a Next-gen free upgrade for Quake 1 probably with RT coming soon. It’s in the trailer.

They want to do with Quake what they’ve done with DOOM by adding all they can to these games.

Edit : It seems like PS5 will get Dualsense support and 120Hz with an update. I’m hoping for RT on Series X|S, but not so sure.

  • So shame it’s not an Xbox console exclusive already, but that’s the smallest aspect.

  • It’s strange they couldn’t prepare upgrades for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 already for today. It’s not so high demanding game. They didn’t wake up just a few months ago with the knowledge about 25th anniversary.

  • In terms of graphics. I wonder if there will be some ray tracing with new consoles update.

  • So shame there’s no M+K support on consoles.

  • Why they didn’t release Quake II and Quake III Arena on consoles? Both games were already released on PlayStation, PlayStation 2, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast and even on Xbox 360. That’s f#$king disappointing and ridiculous.

  • Physical release is only through Limited Run Games and AGAIN without Xbox! That’s another very stupid thing. This one should released physically normally, not time limited, and on every 3 console platforms. Especially that Microsoft owns whole Bethesda Softworks.

Should I bother with this game if I played Tribes??
