Bingo. If it was Xbox, we’d see article after article about Phil/Xbox lying about its capabilities and some other such nonsense. Sony literally puts out one of the most disappointing hardware releases, to which most of the actual gamer community agrees while the media/influencers try and gaslight the rest

Im not sure sony fans and the gaming media even play the games anymore. They all just post about hardware sales more then actually playing games.

Honestly I think it would have been better if Sony opted to have a feature like Quick Resume for their Pro.

Most of them are not even logical, for example one person mentioned that Xbox are really struggling so they should stop making everything exclusive and make their games multiplatform…

Interesting at this point? Hardly. Sony themselves have a terrible history with new studios they’ve set up, acquired, or reaquired lately. Why don’t we wait until we see if the studio is around in 18 months…

Imagine getting a new studio that works on certain criteria like remastering a game to the point it looks like a complete remake, or master at single player adventure, and say, “You know what do we need them to do? Live service game!”

The first-party output (read: games developed by studios owned by Sony) has been absolutely abysmal this generation and there’s no spin that will change that fact. They’ve survived in the public perception because of a media that refuses to hold them to a fraction of the account they hold competitors, and a bevy of third-party moneyhats to give the illusion they’re producing… well anything lately.
As a gamer, I don’t care about speculation, I care about being able to play new games and Xbox have delivered in spades comparatively imo.

Out of a dozen attempts, Sony’s got Helldivers 2, and ten cancelled or discontinued games. That’s the one hit they wanted, so everything according to keikaku I guess.

Being my secondary console for this generation, I have no issues with my PlayStation 5 Pro. Give me my two or three games on average a year and im a happy gamer!!
