PlayStation 5 |OT| This SSD has no limits

Thanks.

But why won’t you be enjoying the hobby for the rest of your life?

Or day 1. They charge like 30 bucks for pc games years after release dont they

Hahaha! yeah sounds a bit dramatic but time will tell I guess.

I will join the army here in Colombia, just waiting for the next incorporations that should be happening before September so I hope to see the next xbox, ps and nintendo showcases before that happens

Okay, gotcha. Hope joining the Army goes well for you and that you can see the showcases before leaving.

I think some of y’all are either willfully forgetting or just don’t realize how big D2 is lol….

Regarding the issues with PS1 BC, I’m seeing this take a lot: “Xbox has had years to perfect their BC initiative, it’s not fair to compare Xbox’s current state with Sony’s brand new program”

While I have said before, I am optimistic that Sony’s program will improve and I think these issues will eventually be ironed out, I really disagree with this take because,

  1. Sony isn’t new to BC, they had excellent BC programs on PS3, PSP, and Vita, so if they are regressing now, that is a problem.

  2. Aside from some problematic games like Halo Reach, Xbox One BC largely worked well since 2015. It’s not like it launched with a ton of issues.

  3. It’s completely fair to compare what Sony is offering in 2022 to what Xbox is offering in 2022. No one’s getting into their time machine to decide between an Xbox One in 2015 or a PS5 in 2022. If Sony is years behind the competition, that’s on them, not the consumer.

I thought D2 was shrinking cause everytime they have a new release they take away paid for content from the consumers. At least everyone I knew that played the game gave it up. That was their last straw.

Totally agree, it’s still early but the first signs aren’t very promising. It seems like they don’t care enough to bring something stellar to the table. I guess we’ll see how it goes.

Or some of us overrating it. Destiny was big. Still has playerbase but no evidence it will be big in the future.

This Destiny 2 debate is overblown

It is as big as any other sucessful live service game

But it is not enough to take on multiple live service games

Yup… it’s pretty bad.

These ‘arguments’ trigger me. Playstation Premium is not BC and Xbox BC IS FREE and not on a premium service!

I always like to remind people that Xbox Games with Gold gives away (to keep) 24 retro games every year.

If you’re a fan of legacy video games and don’t have hundreds of backwards compatible games then you clearly ignored Xbox at your own peril. PlayStation gamers now get to pay PlayStation Plus $20 a month to rent retro games, meanwhile gamers in the Xbox ecosystem have an entire library of games that are theirs to keep forever (even when you cancel Gold).

Compared to all the games I mentioned and MS own/will own? I think the one not realizing things is not me…

But we knew this

Lets see what games they add before end of the year. Im not paying a penny for this yet.

Any word on the loading speed?

You named some games and an entire publisher….of course 1 game isn’t going to stand up to that.

You originally said to name 1 GAAS Sony has which I did and then it was handwaved like Destiny is just some piss any IP and doesn’t hold a candle to the games you mentioned…

…which is funny considering it’s constantly charting in the top 10 concurrent Steam chart and always in the top most played games on consoles…yes even above things like Minecraft, CoD, and Blizzard games.

But yeah…how can it compete indeed. :man_shrugging:t2:

Fair enough.
