If it has thats a marketing win
Iām on a business trip and just streamed Starfield on my phone. How dare you, Phil?
Microsoft has been doing this before the current generation even started. The only difference now is that they seem to have a marketing/advertising campaign that actually showcases this. Iām set on Xbox so as long as they release consoles and keep Game Pass Ultimate intact with their games being day one, im not going anywhere.
I just hope this slick advert makes it to national TV. Xbox with GamePass is a fantastic Christmas Day present for any gamer.
Hope Microsoft builds on Call Of Duty on Gamepass this year along with the likes of Indy and Stalker 2 Goes on a big push for sales using both social media and traditional TV advertising
Itās a marketing campaign just beginning Iām sure there will be TV Ads considering they have it on buildings and buses already.
I know most of us donāt bother much with mainstream TV but Christmas TV adverts are still a big deal and do help get people buying the product being advertised
Itās a nice slick Ad and would be happy to see Micrsoft advertise the Xbox on TV in the run up to thanksgiving and Christmas thatās all.
I think itās a great ad that shows off the benefits of the Xbox ecosystem.
It hits for me as I am currently renovating my living room and was forced to put my consoles in storage, until the work is completed. During the reno, I have continued to play Starfield, Atlas Fallen and COD on my office PC and ROG Ally.
The ability to play anywhere is often overlooked by mainstream media and fanboys. With one GPU subscription, you can play Black Ops 6 on:
- Xbox consoles
- PC
- Handhelds (ROG Ally, Legion Go)
- Cloud (Browser, Firestick, Smart TVs, Mobile)
VS
On PlayStation:
- PlayStation consoles
I agree its wonderful being able to play anywhere and how X Cloud allows for all your progress to be synched over to the mobile. I also feel the tech isnāt as bad as some love to make out.
I do find it strange that itās yet to move out of Beta stage.
Agreed. Especially now that theyāre heavily advertising it as a proper feature, and not just a sort of additional benefit.
I wonder if there are internal Microsoft implications to bringing a product out of beta.
Everyoneās talking about Bluesky, so I thought Iād sign up. This is one of the first posts I saw:
Iāve seen a lot of skeptic people about this campaign, but honestly I think itās pretty cool. Also, it got us talking about it so I guess itās working lol.
I would be very interested to hear @DeadlyHeadley 's reply about how the campaign is going, with the recent announcements of many Xbox first party and partners games going to Playstation, and rumours about the Switch 2. Was this random, or a deliberate target?
