The circumstances don’t matter, the costs do. Time isn’t the issue as much as paying people over that time. If you can find a way like Palworld did the corporation doesn’t care, you kept your costs down.
Time was what MVG(sorry confused as booty) was referring to, the 4 years ,I didnt set the timespan he did, how Will Xbox accomplish Prestige and awards like that?
You’re acting like he wants to wave a wand and have it next year. They already have a ton of games in development, plenty of which we’ve never heard of outside of potential leaks.
As long as they keep BC going and bring more stuff to Gamepass I see no reason to drop Xbox nor to stop trusting them.
No matter what some people are saying right now, I’ve had some of the best times in gaming this gen and had the most unique experiences and discoveries and that was all due to Gamepass making it easy for me to try stuff and play games I normally never would have tried, and I’m thankful for that. It also gave a chance to some devs to take risks and try new stuff, like Capcom has done with some of their titles for example, or fronting the money to indie devs and guarantee at least a revenue for their work.
Interesting response if that quote was just taken out of context.
The quote is being taken out of context imo, but also Matt should probably have just kept his mouth shut because that’s not what anyone wants to hear after they closed two beloved studios
Yep, it’s clear that people have not read the article. At no point does the article state Hi-Fi Rush was the type of small games that Booty was alluding to.
Also, it should be noted that according John Johanas himself, Hi-Fi Rush was ‘not a cheap game to make’.

Quite simply, they wont. They have very slim chance. You are right the way I see it.

Hi-Fi Rush was not a small game
Don’t remember saying anything about that game but yeah great.
You are both talking like you know the context of that quote when you do not. You’re filling in the gaps to match what you think will happen.
I responded to what he said about AA. You are just defending at any point. It was a logical remark about smaller teams and time taken. Don’t take it out of context. We get it Jesse. Defend xbox till the end sony is terrible. Phil is a great guy cause he dies his hair and wears a sports jacket. We get it. Just accept that people can be critical of a company that you have based your livelihood hood on. I will probably get banned for this but oh well. Peace.
I’m sorry your comedy reviews didn’t take off. I do not moderate conversations I’m a part of unless TOS is broken. If you think that little if me what else can I say. Trying to offer clarification isn’t defense, but I doubt you actually care.
I’m sorry that you are an actual joke. You have no idea about anything you speak on. You are a joke within the industry. Look forward to you’re little kitty big city 9/10.
You are a degenerate.
We’ve published 3 games on xbox btw Goodluck in life.
Lmfao
So a dev talked up their project in an interview to make it seem more significant than the zero marketing, shadowdropped release made it seem to be. That doesn’t mean their project wasn’t small. It is still a much smaller project than the Halos, Forzas, or any other modern AAA game with an ever-expanding budgets. And it definitively had the prestige, more than any other AAA Xbox game, that’s for sure. It won more awards than the other small Xbox games, Grounded, Pentiment or Psychonauts 2 combined.
John Johanas’s reaction on Twitter says it all, really.
LOL, always ready your responses ready to laugh.
Okay, that’s done. Trust me there has been zero defense of this from any moderators. Only attempts to understand why and clarifications on actual reality versus online narratives. So let’s get back to a healthy discourse that doesn’t call for people’s jobs or insult them directly as that is against our terms of service for any and everyone, no matter which company.
