I don’t see COD keeping the yearly cycle with Halo and Gears being a thing. Plus MS wants a lot of unique content for Gamepass and you have like four good studios wasted on one IP. Maybe it doesn’t happen right away but u think eventually.

Brad Sams in his new videos says he can see EA and/or Sony giving some pushback to this and he expects the deal to take longer to finalize than Bethesda. But I would say that shouldn’t surprise anyone.

Agreed, nothing I said contradicts this lol. It’s exactly why I said the deal doesn’t make sense unless they made COD exclusive.

Yeah, legally they can’t say anything about their plans until the deal is fully done just like with Bethesda but it’s very clear that they’re cleaning house of any bad actors the instant they acquire them.

It’s funny how people are paying attention to game industry “journalist” about financial impact of this move. These people have a combine networth of $300 and we are looking that them for wisdom?

I talked to a fund manager friend of mine. He manages a fund with alot of MS stock and even he is unsure of the impact of this move. We will not know the true impact for years to come…

Call of Duty & Overwatch added to Halo, Doom, Wolfenstein, Quake, PD etc… Diablo & WoW added to the The Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Starfield, Fable, Avowed, The Outer Worlds 2, InXile’s New game… sheeesh.
