The previous versions of the game have been fully delisted from all stores, with studio Ryu Ga Gotoku and publisher Sega expecting customers to move across to the new versions instead. These versions should be discounted for those who owned the old editions on Xbox … alas, that is not currently the case.
Issuing an update on X in Japanese (translated), Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio apologized for the confusion over the discounted pricing for users on the previous versions of Yakuza 1 and 2, stating that they are going to investigate the matter.
