From the interview above.
Now that majority of of the long-time missing staple features have been brought back, I wonder where 343i will take the game next. I hope the population is large enough to sustain long term development and the rumored Tatanka and other new modes will bring new people to the game.
AI in Forge is brand new for the series. Itās really easy for people to overlook that, and other things 343 introduced to the series as a whole, like the custom browser.
Man, I regret staying away from this game so long because I am getting destroyed in multiplayer. I guess I will have to lower down sensitivity, but feeling the skill gap in social matches.
Yes, AI in forge could be revolutionary, depending how far it can be pushed. I could even see 343i alternating between PVP and PVE events in the future.
The next Halo wonāt come out for the next 5 or 6 years most likely, so Iād like Infinite to enjoy the same level of support it has this year for the next 3 or 4 years. It still could morph into an incredible package when all is said and done. But it likely depends on how much revenue it brings.
My most requested feature would be match composer. They figured it out for MCC, they should implement it here as well.
To be fair the discussion over missing features generally overlooks a lot anyway. It is not healthy for any game series to be expected to deliver more and more and more so consistently, and Halo Infinite was ultimately intended to be a different type of game and intentionally launched lighter on content to better react to audience demands.
This isnāt to say that this was a successful approach, or that people shouldnāt criticise missing or delayed features - but thereās a lot of discussion that seems to be based on the idea that Infinite should have had every feature any Halo game has ever had AND more content than any other Halo game ready to go at launch and it simply isnāt realistic or reflective of how game development should work.
Sounds like forge will have almost every enemy from the campaign including bosses, Iām way more excited about what forgers do with this than maps
Only unknown now is how much resources the AI take up
To expand on my last response with some relevant Season 5 info: itās only 50 levels this time with the same amount of rewards! Also, custom games will get you XP!
Thatāll take a lot of pressure off you catching up.

More advertisement from Xbox themselves.
Hilarious to remember people saying Halo isnāt the face of Xbox anymore when recent video of ABK has him. Time sure is knocking back.
bandit evo starts for competitive and ranked
more big improvements coming to forge along with campaign ai
It has been nothing but Ws this week for Halo.
This is pure conjecture on my part, but it would be sweet if that Halo 3 playlist had the same movement as Halo 3. You can, after all, remove sprint, slide, and camber in Custom Games.
I wonāt mind either way. These maps with modern movement and equipment will play great. If I really want Halo 3, I can always load up MCC.

The man who single-handedly saved both Halo properties.
Both recoveries were team effortsā¦
But he seems to be a better studio head than Bonnie Ross, from the outside looking in.
