Halo |OT| Master Chief's Breath of the Wild Moment (Part 1)

They were all delayed to late 2021. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

It is almost time for another episode of You Had Me At Halo. If you have any Halo related questions you’d like to ask that will be answered on the podcast please reply to this post.

Yes this needs to be revived

After seeing Sony’s launch lineup and rewatching that Halo demo, it looked on par with all of the big name games releasing this year. Yea there was pop in and the lighting was flat, but we’re to assume that was going to be fixed by launch. It looked great.

But I guess Microsoft doesn’t want Halo to be great but to be AMAZING, bringing it back to its roots. Sucks we’re gonna have to wait next year to play it though.

Anyone know about this person? Was wondering how reliable he is.

I would put zero stock into this.

Am I the only one who wants a future Halo FPS to be developed by ID Software following the acquisition?

Hope we’ll get Halo-themed Series S/X consoles when it finally releases. I’m still hoping for a Spring release, but I dunno…

I am not sure if it is a spring release, but if it releases later in the year then I can see a special edition console.

We are taking questions for the You Had Me At Halo podcast. If you have any questions respond as soon as possible.

I really like the classic CE inspired art style they’re going for. Very clean and readable.

I like it. Looks very clean. There will be some backlash for not going realistic enough but this art style will hold up IMO. Also being less busy means you can have more stuff going on.

This model seems to confirm no real changes to the art style in Infinite. Whilst I do like the classic Halo vibes and it is a nice departure from Halo 4/5’s rather busy over military style realism, I think it’s just a tad bit too simplistic. I would have preferred they went with the style from Halo Wars 2 (below) or at least to have met somewhere in the middle.

I really like the infinite art style. Like absolutely love it. I do think anyone who played CE a lot will love it. But I guess for many gamers their first Halo game was 3 or even later and therefore they might not entirely get what this is pitching at.

Shadows of Reach and Halo Infinite

This actually sounds interesting. I may read a Halo book for the first time ever. May be a good primer for Infinite.

They really need to nail the visual presentation of Halo Infinite and make it a true looker. Apart from that I’m satisfied by everything I know about the game. I’m impatient to see it coming back in full force changing people’s minds.
