They really think the population drop off is because of cosmetics 
People are dropping the game because itās boring AF to play the same maps over and over again, not because a red and gold armour is $20

Iām not gunna pretend that the amount of maps isnāt on the small end. But considering older Haloās launched with pretty much the same amount, Iām curious why content creators are declaring the game dead for this reason.
Different era tbh. Way more competition nowadays, if Halo 3 dropped today it wouldnāt even be close to as popular as it was back then. Let alone Halo Infinite being way more barebones than a decade + old game.
But this whole fixation on cosmetics is so weird to me, thatās the least important issue that Infinite has.

No warzone, no breakout, lack of modes, just 6 arena maps (4 if you eliminate Meh-hemoth and Launch Site). Core gameplay is fantastic but the content depth is not there.
Also what worked 2 gens ago aint the same today.

Halo MCC has skewed the perception of many of those folks imo - Not an accurate way to judge the gameās content (or lack of).
Not MCC as a baseline but Halo Reach, 4 and 5 are right there.
I know Halo 5 had a couple forge maps but at least they were there.
I will give you Halo 4 - but the other two 
I just corrupted two save files, one being my LASO run which I was at 35% completion. The second having completed the main story but the rest of the side missions left to mop up, which I have been letting my youngest son chip away at. Pretty pissed at the moment.

No swaps, 50% of my challenges are in a broken mode and thereās hackers everywhere lol.
Iāll try the event next month
Wasted like 6 swaps this week because most of them sucked and At one point I had 2 challenges that where exactly the same being active lmao.
I just got like 14 more levels to go and I can end my misery lol - Already removed campaign as I dont think Ill do any kind of legendary run or co-op for the matter so that update will do nothing for me (thanks Peter).

I havenāt used a challenge swap yet and always try to do everything. I like trying something new and challenging. But I get that some things can be too much for some.
I personally got 0 interest in BTB or Ranked due to the possibility of getting a capture the flag match thats 5 points long.

Iām really bad a Tactical so those always get tossed. Vehicle related ones tend to get tossed too since I donāt normally enjoy using them much.
