That is partly why I found it easier - you had all this space to move around in lol.
On the other hand, Escharum was in this narrow space plus he could close the distance in one jump and you are dead lol.

Yall should take boss talk to spoiler thread to be safe
U can play ranked controller vs controller at least.
Doing my legendary run now. On heroic fighting the boses I was only killed a total of one time between all of them. Maybe they hard on legendary .
I havenât been able to post much as I have been doing holiday family things, but man Halo Infinite is hands down my GOTY! I havenât made near enough progress on campaign as I would like (which is amazing for me) only because I keep getting sucked into playing the multiplayer which is just addicting for me in a way that hasnât hit since I did LAN parties with friends many years ago. The minute-to-minute gameplay in both campaign and multiplayer is just crazy fun, and I now understand why my boys liked working their way through a âbattle passâ in games like Fortnite because I like getting all of the little cosmetics to update my Spartan along the way (I even got a Nerf gun for Christmas that gives me an awesome AR Nerf skin in game)
This is a Halo game that I will be playing for many years going forward, and that is an achievement in and of itself by the 343 team based on where I was at personally with things before this as a long time Halo fan.
Finally, I get that people like to talk online about games and what they could do better and such. But donât let the critique of any game overshadow just having fun with great games like this, as playing Halo Infinite with a squad that includes my teenage boys is gaming fun that likely wonât be matched by anything else for a very long time.
Iâve finally reached lvl 100 on the battle pass and unlocked the last reward for the Christmas event. With this, Fortnite battlepass as well as Forza Horizon 5 and Fallout 76 I donât have enough time to do everything, especially with the gym and the kids. 343 has made the battle pass too time consuming to be honest especially compared to something like fortnite that barely demands maximum half an hour of my time per day if even that and an hour per week for all the weekly quests. So unless 343 adjusts the challenges I wonât be getting any more battle passes for Halo as it requires too much time to be quite honest and I donât plan to dedicate my time to the game, even though it is quite fun but still lacks content imo. Will probably jump back in in a few months to see whatâs changed though.
For now, Iâll just try to finish the campaign as Iâm having an insane amount of fun with it.
yea i finished the pass as well but yea it has issues which they already said they are looking into it
I played with a whole team today. And man this is extremely fun with a squad. 2 of my buddies never played Halo before but were immediately hooked and had a great time. I love this game so much. We had so many great rounds, I love when its super close.
ButâŚthe battlepass goes til June or something. I bet half an hour a day would be enough?
Youâre doing it wrong. Halo Infinite Battle passes never expires.
Yeah, that too. lol
Battle Pass is extremely easy to go through with the latest changes they have. You can easily get a level a day with minimal effort.
6 bot matches = 1 level
All strictly from Dailies and nothing else (300 + 200 + 200 + 100 + 100 + 100)
I think the XP gain pacing is in a good state now. They just gotta make it so that you can earn credits through playing the game, and like other games with battlepasses, be able to earn back the credits for purchasing the next one once you complete the current one. The whole âbut battle pass doesnât expireâ is a novelty at best, most people will be constantly sold on whatâs new and shiny at the time anyway, especially when thereâs no alternate progression systems outside the battle pass (ignoring timed events which are well, timed and inherently FOMO to begin with).
I know that. However you seree not supposed to be trying to complete the battle pass later in when the new battle pass is available and its the one youâll want to be farming at that point. Also, current season is 6 months, next ones will only be 3.
I was able to complete all the challenges in one day like 2-3 weeks ago and make the double exp boosts worthwhile since I could compete 3-4 challenges in 1 game sometimes. Now that theyâve made the vhallenges even more mode specific, you can barely complete a challenge or 2 per game, making the double exp almost useless IMO as well as making it so that you canât give a big push once a week and instead requires you to login daily but for I find I have to for an even lo get period of time now. Iâm glad Iâve finished the battle pass but unless 343 does some heavy tweaking and changes their challenges I doubt Iâll be spending any more money on their battle passes.
Where are those rules written down at?
Still, with 90 days of normal play with only daily Bot Matches youâll get to Level 90. Use 10 Double XP Boosts and you have completed the battle pass with only 6 Bot Matches a day. Or you can play 8 Bot Matches a day and youâre at Battle Pass Level 99 with no boosts at all after 90 days. Or play 9 Bot Matches a day and youâll complete the Battle Pass in 87 days.
This is total cake walk for completion. If youâre grinding it, or feel you have to grind it, then your approach to it is entirely wrong.
Exactly, this way players can take as much time as they want on each Battle Pass. While you can only progress through one Battle Pass at a time, you can choose to buy older ones if you so choose. I see no issues with the way itâs structured at the moment.
But is doing bot matches any fun? In Fortnite for example I can complete a game or 2 in solo and have all my challenges done while also sometimes winning and playing the actual game. Iâm supposed to be playing challenges, not finding a scheme to grind in a very unfun manner just to get skins. Also, a lot of the challenges in Halo depend too much on random weapon placement/disponibility as well as random game types you canât pick and hope you get randomly.
There are so many examples put there of other games with Battle passes that I donât understand how they couldnât come up with something better and more fun to grind at launch. Even the 6 Matches per day for a level is only an excuse for the poor balancing of their challenges and isnât a proper fix.
Like I said I love the game, but the battle pass system and skin prices isnât well thought of and is really poorly executed compared to the other games out there.
Think theyâve acknowledged that it was a band aid that they could do quickly to at least begin to address issues. I expect that we will see more comprehensive changes roll out for season 2.
Cannot say enough how little content this game has online. Core gameplay is great but this online is so barebones in traditional Halo variety.
Team Slayer literally has 4 maps cause Behemoth and Launch Pad are garbage. Cant turn off crossplay for SWAT. BTB zzzzz. Cheaters running rampant and overall its been the worst week Ive had on Infinite.
Also this week the input lag and melee registering has been god awful.
