Halo |OT| Master Chief's Breath of the Wild Moment (Part 1)

Oh thanks a lot. As I said I used to be an idiot when I was younger. I was a forum troll. Now in my fourties it is redemption time . Enjoying and appreciating all these games is my way to say sorry and thank you to you lot. Yesterday I finished the original Psychonauts, after 17 years stuck haha. Have a nice xmas or pagan celebrations.

Has 343 said anything in regards to a roadmap or when one would be released.

We know season 2 is out in may. We know that’s when co-op is coming. And we know forge is coming in season 3.

That’s all we really got so far.

I like The Pilot or Echo-216. They went out of the way to make him an actual character, and care about.

Moreso than Foehammer in Halo 1.

I’m gonna cry when 343 kills off Echo-216 in a future game because the life of a Pelican pilot transporting the Master Chief is a notoriously short one.

I think they’ll say something more specific in january. I doubt they’ll show the year 2022 roadmap right ahead, but who knows. At least what we can expecrlt until E3.

If The Endless isn’t coming this year, I expect we get a teaser of the campaign DLC at either E3 or at XO22/TGA for 2023.

Makes sense to me

As someone who doesn’t care about co-op or Forge, the wait for more content will be a long one i suspect. Shame.

I am hoping Forge could provide interesting content for the solo/co-op player as well. Probably pulling this out of my ass, but like the ability to build a outpost of some sort and populate it with enemies that people can play. Dunno if Forge has offered that kind of stuff in the past or not.

This is the feeling I’m getting. It seems that it’s gonna have scripting as well and overall will he a deep creator tool.

Yes, that could be nice. Like proper missions etc. Might be entertaining at least, but it will not replace proper content for me. :frowning:

I feel that the Nameplates are underwhelming (was the same for Halo 5). Those were way better in Halo MCC: more detailed + the animated ones (especially with the Halo characters) are epic.

Just completed my second playthrough, wanted to grind out the remaining collectibles which I thought were just the skulls. I managed to find them all, but didn’t realize that I was missing one last Banished audio log also, which happens to also be missable… The crappier thing about it is that the log is located in the room where you fight Escharum.

Oof, that sucks.

When I realized there was missable collectibles in missions and you couldnt replay (stupid) I always took a note of what I had to find in each before I started them.

I only had to go back for the two first skulls in a second playthrough.

Yeah pretty shitty, but all good. I’ll just do another quick run on easy. It’s pretty light work with the Tank Gun anyway.

I was sure I had all the audio logs wrapped up. Only realized I was missing one after checking my skulls after the finding the last one.

It depends on how meaty is their roadmap for the game: if they have enough mp content for the year (seasons, coop, forge, maybe br), they can show the campaign dlc further, considering it should be as polished as it can be. The game will be a complete package Halo end 2022 (coop and forge) if you think about it, I don’t believe in a dlc campaign next fall. Only if the cut content is really big.

Well we know they got 2/3 of the game, right? I dunno how likely next fall is but that is ton of availabile content unless it was cut for quality reasons.

I don’t understand, do you mean they cut 1/3 of the campaign?

You can speed run the game by doing a trick at the Dig site mission where you can skip all the way to The Road mission.

I guess it’s hard to know what the article means specifically. But in summer 2019 2/3 of the game was cut (meaning we got 1/3 of what was planned). Dunno if that means story content or just the overall size of the world though.
