I’m tired of hearing from people that halo HAS to have a Battle royale. I wouldn’t say that at all. If it’s there, fine that’s cool. I would just say that the ‘big multiplayer mode’ needs to be good, and I would prefer a more original take than battle royale.

The super competitive 2v2 and 4v4 multiplayer is there. The more casual friendly 8v8 is in. Firefight and forge are also there. I think the bigger mode just needs to good and hopefully unique, whatever it is.

I think it’s somewhat assumed that it’ll be:

Halo Infinite release: Xbox One, Series, PC

Halo Infinite campaign expansion: Series, PC only

While the game will launch on One I expect the One will eventually be dropped once the One drops to a small portion of the population. If I had to place bets… probably around 2024.

While the game will launch on One I expect the One will eventually be dropped once the One drops to a small portion of the population. If I had to place bets… probably around 2024.

I’ll guess around 2 years after launch, possibly up to 3 years 343 will do a graphical overhaul of the entire game. They will do it for pc/Xbox series consoles. At that point Xbox one will probably stop receiving major support.

New insider build

The new graphics look really nice. Textures and water rendering is much better now in the insider build. Also the fog in “assault on the control room” is back and energy shields change color when being hit with plasma.
