Is the update out to preinstall for Gamepass users yet?
apprently the disc has nothing on it seems to be a cross gen crux since forza did same thing
Great to hear that crunch was not a part of the problem. Iām guessing it was more a lack of clear vision for what the game should be, which is understandable ( just see the Halo community ).
I canāt find the multiplayer thread anywhere. Was it renamed to this?
My only previous obsession with multiplayer FPS was Team Fortress 2, back in ⦠2008 or so? Everyone communicated in text. So it feels natural to me to do the same in Halo Infinite - typing away while Iām waiting to respawn - but I seem to be in a real minority, to say the least. Almost no one replies to me, or types anything at all. Does anyone else here have a keyboard plugged into their Series X?
I could but only if they allowed Bluetooth keyboard connections. So no. No keyboard on xbox.
Why bt mouse works but not keyboard?
Donāt know but last time I tried to pair a BT Keyboard and didnāt get anywhere. All search stuff deals with Smart Glass App and is from last gen. Only keyboard usage I see requires a USB connection, directly or through logitechās wireless dongle.
Is there someone here who managed to download the campaign yet (full download) ?
How big is the download (without MP) ? Because it will probably take me a while⦠I guess I wonāt be able to play the game day one.
Accuracy. What does the accuracy stat mean in multiplayer? Youād think higher accuracy would naturally result in a higher kill per death ratio, but in so many games I have the highest accuracy of all players on both teams, and yet a terrible kill per death ratio. Last game I was 53% accuracy (not great by pro standards or whatever, but still the highest in that match) but I had only 5 kills and 11 deaths.
The thing I struggle with most in the whole game is landing that final headshot, and I just cannot figure out how to get it consistently. I feel like thereās some secret manipulation of the aim assist people are taking advantage of but not sharing, kind of like the mini-strafe thing I only learned about recently.
Itās simply shots landed vs shots fired.
It was never āthe multiplayer threadā
It was just the main overall Halo thread. It just got a name change when multiplayer was launched and then a thread got made for the campaign previews. So people started thinking of them that way
I even had some smart ass, I think Mort, sarcastically say āNice multiplayer videoā when I posted the campaign lauch trailer in here. I wanted to tell him how dumb he was for saying that, but then I thought heyā¦he canāt help itā¦heās Swedish
So Iām sometimes the most accurate shooter in the match, with the worst kpd ratio. Thereās definitely something Iām missing about getting kills.
In theory it goes like that : chest chest chest, then head.
Or if you play like me : head, miss, miss, head, head, grenade, Iām dead.
The thing about Halo and accuracy is that it does count for something, but usually youāre getting shot by two to three people and no matter how great your shots are, all of the bullets heading your way will make that not matter.
I could only find this on an IGN page about the last set of Game Pass games that were added. I've been waiting since last week for the download to go up but I don't know.
Xbox Game Pass members can currently pre-install Halo Infinite via the Xbox Game Pass app on their mobile PC. Navigate to [Halo Infinite (Campaign) on the app], and click install on your chosen console. Halo Infiniteās install size on Xbox Series X is 74.3 GB, while on PC it clocks up to 100 GB. The campaign takes up 48.4 GB on your console, 25.9 GB for the multiplayer. You can see these numbers directly on your console after you pre-load the game. From the gameās Steam pages, you can see that it's (50 GB for Campaign and 50 GB for multiplayer).
Take a look at your damage output compared to the other players. You may be landing more of your shots, but theyāre putting out more overall, so thatās going to result in more kills over the length of the match.
