Yeah but that’s development issues not server based or load issues, as in I don’t think most of the issues that are in vanguard is caused by server load because there is so many game modes.
Elimination is the only other one that shows up in achievements, so I reckon we see it December 8th.

Their servers and load balancing is horrible every year. That’s why you get booted from matchmaking, thrown out of matches, separated from your party, can’t even get onto the servers etc.
I can see weekly playlist updates like we had with MCC and Halo 5, so we might get another playlist next week then maybe more on launch day.
If that was the case why don’t they do what Halo did if it was a huge issue at launch, I just don’t think they didn’t launched it because of server or load issues. They might be doing it for data collection and tracking with concentrated playlists at launch, I just don’t think they did it because they thought everything would go to shit if they just added a Slayer playlist that’s all.

Honestly just do what has been said here Slayer, OBJ + Slayer BTB, OBJ BTB and maybe keep fiesta and obviously ranked, all of them as always available then have fun modes like shotty snipers and rockets only modes every weekend.

Because they probably don’t design with these things in mind so they end up with a shit tier launch lol.
Try to do all 3 trainings for every weapon. It helps a lot. It’s there exactly to learn to use these new weapons. Or play fiesta lol !!

Maybe they were unsure how successful the game would be and were worried too many playlists would lead to the negative press associated with being unable to find matches? Haha
Adding playlists should be a pretty easy thing, probably just server side. Can’t imagine it’ll be long.
This is what I think it is. Just making sure the most people play the most amount of modes possible for now before fragmenting.

I think I’m done engaging in all Halo social media stuff. It’s just too exhausting to watch this level of hyperbole over and over again.
I don’t see this level of vitriol being levied against unfinished and buggy games like CoD or Battlefield.
I would say it’s because people ‘care’ about Halo but the fanbase has shown time and time again that they are more interesting in shitting on 343 at any turn possible and the media feeds off this.
r/Halo has daily conspiracy theories with 6k upvotes about how playlists are never changing because its somehow going to make us spend more.
It’s just exhausting, I just want somewhere I can talk about the game purely that isn’t as reactionary as that place. It’s disappointing to see journalists parroting the same exaggerated sentiment. I would always go to r/Apexlegends but I just can’t say the same for r/Halo.

Even with some kinks (progression, mtx), the game is a beast on its own. Fix those problems and it will be unstoppable.
