I wouldn’t be mad if they did other game cutscenes
holy fuck with that moment with that dead spartan taking out that whole room with a screw driver! MAD LEGEND right there that hit home this game gonna hit us in the feels
for the first 3 sure, but as you then go to 3 matches for exp then 5, then 7 it adds up faster than in those daily challenges. You only get 100 exp per match 3 times, then 33 exp per match 3 times. After that it’s 20 and then less for another 6 times. 25 per match with 40 a win is a good “bar goes up” compromise that keeps things from levelling too quickly and you don’t need to have it end at some point each day.
Isn’t there a thread for Campaign Spoilers and Reveals? I’m not watching any campaign gameplay videos for a reason. Can we keep discussion of it to the proper place? At the very least, use the SPOILER post tags, please. If not, then this will be another thread I’ll have to MUTE.
This is everything
I’ve taken the liberty of blurring out spoilers, just be mindful of it in the future please.
not a problem
Point taken.
I mean, it’s cool but CGI cutscenes are better imo, few games use them only because they cost A LOT.
Different types of shooters. But Halo Infinite smokes the other two in terms of polish and basic mechanics. It’s far more enjoyable to play. And it’s not even close. And I’m a huge BF fanboy but this game is way way way better.
same reason why CP2077 cutscenes/dialogue sections are phenomenal.
yep
I mean I don’t wanna reduce massive narrative and direction and cinematographic and lighting and animation and performance/motion capture efforts to this one creative decision lol, but you get what I mean, it drove everything else and the game’s vision felt more authentic and necessary to bring that intimate feel.
I feel like I’ve just about grasped the basics of pistol and assault rifle play now, and understand most of the modes (slayer, oddball - great fun once you get the hang of them; one flag - diabolically bad).
Biggest issue at the moment is vehicles. First, nothing I press on the controller seems to get them to turn left or right. I think the right analogue stick made the truck turn a bit but it was really cumbersome. I couldn’t figure out how to get the flying airship thing off the ground either.
Also, any tips appreciated for how you’re supposed to fight against airships when you have a pistol/assault rifle, because I don’t think I’ve manged to win a single one-on-one fight against one.
You dont engage lol
Unless you see the airship in a position where it can’t flee due to bad piloting or you see that it’s burning, it’s not worth engaging the airship with pistol and AR.
So how do you get the person out of the airship?
You hijack them just as any vehicle
Nothing in the game so far has taught me how to hijack any vehicle. How do you do it?
Vehicles in Halo are steered with the camera using the right stick. But there’s an option to steer with the left stick:
Settings > Controller > Movement & Aiming > Movement Assisted Steering
RB ascend - LB descend
I recommend checking the controller settings especially the vehicle section to get an idea. Set a custom game or training to practice.
