I still remember the massive bomb waves when EA stealth dropped Apex Legends, this is about to be that on steroids.
I still find it weird that it’s dropping tomorrow but it’s easily going to be the story of the year that we’ll all remember for years to come.

Possible yeah. MP game of the year is a lock, the campaign will not be unless they’ve sent out codes for journalists to play and already decide privately.

It kinda confirmed my suspicions, I don’t think this will be the proper launch, but more of an open beta. It’s better in a way cuz you get to launch what’s functionally already kinda ready maps/modes/features wise under the guise of an “open beta” so that you can hammer the fuck out of the servers for now, and over the course of the coming weeks, get that sorted and have a solid December 8th official launch for both SP and MP, still sticking to their promise of “campaign and multiplayer this December 8th”.

My final guesses on this:

There is going to be something early released.

It’s not going to be ‘sold’ as an early release of MP. It will be sold as a ‘special preview’ or something like that. But progress will continue into the launch game, so it might as well be.

It might not be the full launch product. Might be a selection of maps with more to come at launch.

I am entirely conflicted on whether the campaign demo rumour is true. On one hand, it just seems a bit too much like something I want to be true for it to actually be true. On the other hand, I think it’s reasonable to say that they have a campaign slice as they let IGN play it and Game Informer see it. So it exists already, why not package it up, get some people who were planning to just play the MP for free hooked into buying the full game? I am going to tentatively guess TRUE, but a very doubtful true.

So this could be the ‘Preview Bundle’ people unearthed – not a paid early access, but a bundle of a campaign demo and a handful of MP maps and modes.

Smart move would be to make this Game Pass only, and sell a tonne of subscriptions. 100% disagree with those saying ‘this would be the perfect time to offer three months for a dollar!’. What? This is basically saying ‘When you have a product a million people would absolutely pay $10 for, it’s the perfect time to give it away for free!’ Nonsense. It would be the perfect time to ensure all deals are wiped off the planet and you had to pay $10.
Liked what I’ve heard about the campaign from fans channels, compare it with Residents Evil 4 one of the best campaigns created in history, this make Halo Infinite no.1 game for me in XGS releases for the first year in Series X/S generation <3

Most of this yes. Not campaign. IGN played 4 hours of campaign - including open zeta halo. That’s a very big ‘slice’ to be a preview. Think it will be an open MP beta with progression continuing and limited content to start with.
It will take me 1 or 2 days to download 50 Gb, but I’ll be there sometime this week. Can’t wait for your impressions fellas !
