Don’t remember getting that high in 5
Wow you weren’t kidding, I just saw the video (with sound this time around) and that was awkward af. Ryan commenting on the arcades and the puppy while the MP director was talking about the design of the map/modes was really something…and that joke about CTF was really bad as well. I remember Ryan doing an interview with Hugo and Marty from id before Eternal’s launch and that was also awkward as well.
Also serious question, IGN doesn’t have anyone on their team that is knowledgeable about Halo’s MP? like how is that possible?
I mean speaking of that, will the XB1 be supported here beyond the base game? If they still support it I don’t imagine they’ll update anything much. If they make next-gen only content, that should naturally mean they can push visuals more.
You would think Ryan would since he claims to love halo so much after that I’m questioning it
I’m very hopeful that once Halo Infinite has shipped, I’ll be able to get some of the 343 folks on to the YHMAH podcast for a good chit chat.
They will have to stop Xbox One at one point. The problem is that Xbox One X is also relative strong so it can be supported as long as Series S basically for quite some time. Maybe for another 2 years? I can’t imagine announcement of “We are dropping Xbox One support for Halo” will go well.
Even with streaming.
That would be awesome
That would be great!
Oh boy I’m ready for the feels again after the first one I did shed a tear
Any chance 343 reveals the roadmap for post launch single player content?
Xbox one x support will likely drop at the same time as Xbox one. One x has a 10 year old laptop cpu in it still and only one component is comparable to series s.
I think support for all Xbox one consoles will happen pretty quickly. First or 2nd major expansion.
I am not sure about a roadmap but I think they will discuss how it will all work going forward.
I think it would be smart to say up front that XONE support ends 2 years after release and downloadable content will carry over to the new generation (i know it already does, but doesn’t hurt to communicate it agai).
They will also likely base One X support on the install base, not just how powerful it is, so I’d expect support for it to stop at the same time as the One S.

Or to say that the first big campaign expansion comes next holiday and it won’t have last gen support.
maybe not a roadmap but kinda explain how it would work least thats how i would do it
Since it’s listed as “campaigns” in the game which implies that there will be future ones, I do hope they give us a teaser trailer or something. Like, in 2022, be prepared to visit deserts, mountains, etc. in our campaign expansions. Something like that would be nice.
i remember them saying post launch they seem excited about experimenting with things like snowstorms
