That’s not very indicative tbh. We dunno what Luma actually is and I doubt MS would build a whole press preview around it. Hope to be wrong though!
You can see under their icons in lower right that there are bars which indicate what equipment item is active, so once you acquire them you keep them and level em up. They aren’t pick ups in the campaign beyond the initial pick up.

It’s a preview buld like they did with forza horizon 5, not the full game. Two things were found today, a preview build for Halo Infinite for press and a review build for Forza Horizon 5 for press.
