The lore implications of this game will be insane! I mean how the fuck did the Banished and the Harbinger seemingly take down a Guardian. After reading Shadows of Reach and constantly being reminded how fearful even the Infinity is of them this just seems crazy.

Having watched it in 4K i think a lot of the environments look really nice and the gameplay looks a lot of fun. I don’t think it’s going to sway someone that wasn’t a Halo fan beforehand but it really does look a ton of fun. I’m hoping the side missions have a decent amount of variety to them, i’ve got a good feeling 343 will nail the more focused story missions. Probably the only “concern” i have is i wonder if we’ll get more environments in the final game or is this part of Zeta Halo what we’ll be seeing come launch.
With how much they’ve built up Master Chief again and how this is essentially a solo mission for him in some ways (along with his AI and pilot) i wonder what this means for the whereabouts of Blue Team?
So nice to see for 343 that the reaction to this demonstration has been so much more positive this time around.
