ACG was tweeting earlier in the year about ppl being surprised about where certain IPās land and suggested stuff would be announced within first several months of 2021.

Honestly that doesnāt sound like a hint to me at all. He just putting the Konami licensing of Metal Gear + Xbox & Kojima together and getting 2 + 2 = 5.
We have someone else over on OtherERA saying that based on how they know at BP, they donāt think the Metal Gear / Bluepoint Rumors are bullshit.
I really think itās Bluepoint + Sony making Metal Gear remakes.

Well letās see, we know for sure Jez didnāt know about the Kojima stuff beforehand since he said so. We know ACG has been saying in the past that major IPās would get deals that would surprise ppl. Maybe ACG is lying about knowing something. But I doubt it.

I actually think there coulda been something to the SH Sony rumor thing but maybe wires got crossed. Like maybe Sony Japan was Kojimaās proxy and it was being explored at some point before DS came out and didnāt do so well. Then maybe Kojima didnāt want to partner with Sony it anymore and shopped it around to Stadia and eventually to MS. In the interim, someone was talking about Sony Japan handling the game with Kojima or something and via a game of telephone and outdated info ppl got confused.

I was simply stating I had heard from a source, the same that informed of the Xbox boost the Death loop delay, Bloodlines, and the other stuff I had talked about as saying this was happening that Metal Gear itself was in some way UP for grabs which then popped up in this discussion about Kojima.
That source has been reliable all this year so I said it. I donāt have the time to really discuss bs so I donāt repeat most. But they were right about the Bloodlines stuff the Deathloop stuff. So I figured it was worthy.
So far they hit 8 for 8 this year. And were right as far back as Far Cry Primal prior to it being announced by a huge margin."
