I totally see where this guy is comming from however, despite being suspended a few times here the community of xboxera and the xbox community at large is more welcoming than the other side. and this is from someone who has been a hardcore xbox guy whos now leaning playing station. I would stay and if people dont like your opinion oh well. your gonna find that in the px community they talk more about xbox than ps

Do you have any specific examples, I would suggest XboxEra is one of the most fair podcasts when it comes to giving credit / criticism where it’s due for all platforms. There’s obviously going to be a slight bias towards Xbox as it’s in the name.

I would argue most of the big Xbox centered podcasts are reasonably fair to other platforms compared to how many of the Playstation/Nintendo podcasts talk about Xbox in comparison.

There’s only 1 possibly 2 Playstation podcasts I can listen to now because of how toxic they are.

Pretty much any live show. Excluding Nick, It’s a lot of PlayStation is terrible. If anyone beings up anything in factual points. Like third party, which is true btw it’s deemed “Negative” there is great things about this forum don’t get me wrong. However it is clouded by one loud voice in my opinion . I am taking this opportunity to also leave. It has been great and thanks for everything.

Oh ok, it’s nothing I have personally noticed. Do you mean the rumour about Xbox going third party? They may bring more multiplayer titles to other platforms but I don’t think it’s possible to definitively state they are going third party (this is very unlikely IMO). I don’t see a lot of ( or really any ) “Playstation is terrible” talk on the Era podcast, maybe I missed some episodes where they did this? Maybe some people just aren’t used to being around those who don’t hold Playstation in as high of a regard as they do, so they see it as saying the platform is “terrible”?

Also do people expect xbox owners to be “positive” about the notion of them going “third party”. Very odd take if that’s the case.

I didn’t see that. What I saw was how terrible Sony Playstation First Party studios are doing, from a financial and game release roadmap perspective. There’s a vast difference between the two statements.
