If you understand the Thai language then it makes the advertisement even funnier.

This ad just destroyed any Vaati video, it just explains the story lol.

Finally took down that bastard , Margit and recorded the deed on the DVR capture only for there to be no sound on the recording. Weird.

would grey market count as non digital?

Nah, it was the various Collectors Editions where you get physical items along with a PC Digital Code which counts as Physical.

Around 20 hours in and I just figured out that I could summon spirits during boss fights. Helped with the red wolf, that whole section is tough for mage/ranges builds. Also still don’t understand the weapon skills stuff at all but hey.

One of the most beautiful areas I’ve ever seen in a game.

After limgrave where’s the best place to go to continue leveling up without beating my head against a wall of difficulty.

It depends, honestly. Have you defeated Margit and ventured through Stormveil castle? If not, that’s an option. Another option, although it’s dicey considering chances of success are relatively slim, would be helping other players who are taking on Margit as he drops 3000 runes on death. I’ve been doing that for the past few days but my success rate is probably 10-20% considering the host typically makes a bad judgment call and gets killed. It’s a high risk/high reward.

For reference, I’m halfway through Stormveil castle at level 24 and am using summons to help get me through. It is a gigantic ā€œlevelā€ although most enemies (save those big ass Tarnished Knights) are pretty weak to magic. I’ve primarily used the summoning system because they seem to be much higher level and know where to go.

Off-topic question: can a summoned player get the Mad Pumpkin Head’s helmet or is it only possible as a regular player? I killed him like 10 times last night to farm those Great Arc things but no look on getting his helm to drop. I saw another player with it and figured that’s where it came from. But you can only fight him once I assume.

I’m new to these types of games but if I understand correctly I think the best advice is to search for a guide that shows where to find the Meteorite Staff. It doesn’t allow skill upgrades and instead scales automatically with your build. That said I still don’t understand what button is supposed to be used for the ashes war move. Could someone tell me which button I’m supposed to press that lets me use an ashes of war perk that is already assigned to a weapon?

You need to wield the weapon with both hands and then hold left trigger to use it. If you have a shield equipped in your left hand, it’ll just activate whatever the shield’s ability is (parry, kick, etc.).

It’s not about the damage I’m doing, the boss is fast and dodges spells.

Two things that bug me in this game:

  1. The randomness of spells not hitting or being dodged by the enemy. Limited casting range is a pet peeve as well.
  2. Bosses whose movesets react immediately to player input. Call me a dumb-dumb but I don’t remember past games taking advantage of this at the scale ER does.
