Elden Ring |OT| Rise Tarnished & Become The Elden Lord (of the dance!)

Hey guys where do you guys get the bell to summon minions? I have like 4 but no bell

until you beat the first main boss you can only see two actual areas. The one we mostly showed in the review and Caelid to the east (a much higher level zone). Once you beat the boss you go into vastly different looking areas. the game has a wide variety of biomes.

Which is the first boss, out of interest? Happy for it to go in spoiler tags. I figured it was Magrit, who took me absolutely ages, but that was just to get into Stormveil Castle. Actually, now I’m remembering I was told to kill a Lord to get a Great Rune for the Roundtable. I should probably focus on that.

Vrr isn’t doing too much for me, I can still feel my eyes starting to lose focus and hurt. So, I’m done with Elden Ring until they can fix it, which this being From, that will be maybe never.

So is anyone else not really loving the open world design?

I can’t get anywhere no matter what direction I go. This one might be getting shelved. I need to stop buying into hype.

I’m definitely going to keep going. I haven’t been hard stuck yet and I’m about 15 hours in. But I think I prefer the level based, linear design over this open world system. It’s not grabbing me like Dark Souls 3 and BloodBorne.

I’m really enjoying it tbh.

Having a similar issue as well. Something about moving and trying to turn the camera simultaneously.

I fought a statue in a cave that doesn’ have much animation on purpose but moves really fast. That guy took me a while

Godrick, the boss after Magrit at the end of the castle.

I’m sorry I’ve lost your trust then. Reviews are subjective, it’s our feelings about how we enjoyed the game. It’s nothing more than a guide to our subjective opinion that I try to fill with a as many objective facts as I can. I’ve loved my loved my over 70 hours with the game and had zero major bugs.

I didn’t say you im just saying generally that people are giving games 10/10 with bugs and glitches and frames issues wile not even bother to mention them in the reviews. We should have known when they told Digital Foundry to not make a video about Elden Ring performance until after day 1 patch but it seem even after day 1 patch is still a mess.

I gave it a 9.8 and talked about the lack of a stable framerate

Im pretty anal about bugs. I really liked both halo and last of us 2 which I played back to back but because of the bugs I gave them 8/10. Me personally despite loving soulsbourne games have never given any of them a 10due to the bugs but thats just me. to many reviews today where its like oh its a x game so its automatically at least a 9 or its a ubisoft game so its at least a 6 etc. Like Jesse said just opinions
